I don't even eat at McDonald's.....or any fast food for that matter. My fridge and cupboards are stacked with low carb everything. I haven't drunk dairy in years. I've turned down Thursday doughnuts at work for years.
It's moreso because of work and relationship......my work entails long hours at my desk or in front of a monitor and my relationship is just really comfortable and the little time we have together because we are both work mongers is spent on the sofa cuddling.
It's lack of activity for me.
it's a vicious circle though.....because to be active takes time.....and I don't have much time these days. Who the hell wants to get up at 3-4am to work out when you just walked in the door from work at 10-11pm? I want a cup of tea and to relax my mind for a bit.
And it makes you tired.
Maybe my new job will help but I have to be extremely disciplined because a couple months at a time will be spent in a hotel.....but the hotel has a gym....but it can get depressing after a week or two....and it will be winter time.

Plus I live with the cap now too and before I lived alone and could dance and act a fool around the house but my libra bits don't allow such things when others are present.
He lost a shit ton of weight during our hiatus and his regimen is hard core and it would probably kill me if I participated....lol
I was taking walks in the park with my Taurus friend but his son recently passed away and he's just not feeling it.
I don't mind walking by myself but it would have to be in the dark because I don't see much daylight.

This is why I don't talk about this stuff publicly. If you read the first few pages you will see when I lost weight people jumped to such assumptions as me being ill.....now that I've gained weight the assumption now is I'm not healthy.
I've never been "unhealthy" in any state of my weight.
People are so funny.
Weight is such a touchy subject for so many people and it doesn't even seem to matter what culture you come from, someone has opinions, suggestions, advice.
No matter what weight you land on....someone will ALWAYS have an opinion.

The last two years have been work. work. work and a crap load of stress.
Those are my triggers and that's what I need to focus on.

I eat paleo. I probably consume about 200grams of fat a day.
My breakfast shake alone is 75grams of fat but its all healthy fat. Even though i eat more fat in one day than some people do in a week, im suuuuper tiny.
I was addicted to sugar waaaayyyy back. I quit it finally and went paleo for many years. But then i started eating it again. I got super sick and was stuck in bed for almost a year. Paleo takes a lot of dedication and meal prep and shopping and wasnt able to actually go shopping or stand to cook. So everything was just sugar and instant. Its a miracle i didnt get fat. I quit sugar again recently and am back paleo.
Most of my friends are bodybuilders and fitness buffs. They will all tell you that weight loss is 80% what you put in your mouth and only 20% of working out.
For any of you that go to gym...have you not noticed a lot of fat people that work out every day and are still fat af?
Those are the people who think that because they went to the gym they can now scarf down 2 big macs and a pizza. Then they whine and bitch about their fatness.

When i went up to the northwest territories i noticed a lot of people went tanning all the time. I asked why and they said that its cause it was always dark there and depression is a big problem. Tanning helps. No one goes for the tan since they are already dark. They go for the mood lift.click to expand

I eat paleo. I probably consume about 200grams of fat a day.
My breakfast shake alone is 75grams of fat but its all healthy fat. Even though i eat more fat in one day than some people do in a week, im suuuuper tiny.
I was addicted to sugar waaaayyyy back. I quit it finally and went paleo for many years. But then i started eating it again. I got super sick and was stuck in bed for almost a year. Paleo takes a lot of dedication and meal prep and shopping and wasnt able to actually go shopping or stand to cook. So everything was just sugar and instant. Its a miracle i didnt get fat. I quit sugar again recently and am back paleo.
Most of my friends are bodybuilders and fitness buffs. They will all tell you that weight loss is 80% what you put in your mouth and only 20% of working out.
For any of you that go to gym...have you not noticed a lot of fat people that work out every day and are still fat af?
Those are the people who think that because they went to the gym they can now scarf down 2 big macs and a pizza. Then they whine and bitch about their fatness.

Weight, a number, means fuck all. Shape, height, and muscle mass are more important.
Thickness can be beautiful and healthy too. As long as the weight you carry isn't around your middle, that's the cancer/heart disease/bad-news-bears fat.

I've gained weight in the last two years.
It sucks.
I don't even eat at McDonald's.....or any fast food for that matter. My fridge and cupboards are stacked with low carb everything. I haven't drunk dairy in years. I've turned down Thursday doughnuts at work for years.
It's moreso because of work and relationship......my work entails long hours at my desk or in front of a monitor and my relationship is just really comfortable and the little time we have together because we are both work mongers is spent on the sofa cuddling.
It's lack of activity for me.
it's a vicious circle though.....because to be active takes time.....and I don't have much time these days. Who the hell wants to get up at 3-4am to work out when you just walked in the door from work at 10-11pm? I want a cup of tea and to relax my mind for a bit.
And it makes you tired.
Maybe my new job will help but I have to be extremely disciplined because a couple months at a time will be spent in a hotel.....but the hotel has a gym....but it can get depressing after a week or two....and it will be winter time.
The cap don't seem to mind but I do.

Makin me feel bad now
I mean she's seen me go through my own journey. I didn't have as much to lose as she does so I know it's discouraging but I have medical obstacles whereas I believe her will power is her only obstacle (I could be wrong)
She's asked me how I've done it a couple times and I tell her just start small - don't eat the bun when you order a burger - get fruit or a veggie instead of fries...try not to add sugar to anything - wean yourself off of it if you have to, stepping it down every couple of days...
She'll order fruit once then go and eat everyone's leftovers and get a venti ?
Maybe I take my strong willpower for granted but it's really not that hard when you want/need to make a change. She's just convinced herself she can't and it doesn't matter because she's going to be alone either way

I had always been thin since i was lil. Till i moved to this city and hanging out a lot with this ladies who eat so much. They're nearly obese. And i kinda ate a lot too since we always having snacks everytime we're hanging out.
I'd craving for food here and there then Bam! My body just turned up to be the heaviest i have ever been all my life.
I decided to change my life style , since the weight just made me feel sluggish and such. Worked out and ate healthier.
I lost almost 20 pounds, i felt good my stamina just went better. But theeen these ladies all freaked out and started to picking on me said that i'm anorexic and so on and mad at me for being thin. "Encourage" me to stop workout and stop the healthy eating. I cheated for few days then before i knew it, i binged badly.
Gained few pounds back. And now i hate it!
And they seem happy that i'm no longer that thin no more.
