I had always been thin since i was lil. Till i moved to this city and hanging out a lot with this ladies who eat so much. They're nearly obese. And i kinda ate a lot too since we always having snacks everytime we're hanging out.

I'd craving for food here and there then Bam! My body just turned up to be the heaviest i have ever been all my life.

I decided to change my life style , since the weight just made me feel sluggish and such. Worked out and ate healthier.

I lost almost 20 pounds, i felt good my stamina just went better. But theeen these ladies all freaked out and started to picking on me said that i'm anorexic and so on and mad at me for being thin. "Encourage" me to stop workout and stop the healthy eating. I cheated for few days then before i knew it, i binged badly.

Gained few pounds back. And now i hate it!

And they seem happy that i'm no longer that thin no more.
Yup!! You lose weight and everyone wants to tell you that you're getting too skinny but as soon as you start gaining, you can get as fat as you want and no one says nothing!!

And it makes you tired.

Maybe my new job will help but I have to be extremely disciplined because a couple months at a time will be spent in a hotel.....but the hotel has a gym....but it can get depressing after a week or two....and it will be winter time.

The cap don't seem to mind but I do.

it is true - but not in the beginning - you have to build up those endorphins - it doesn't take long - and then you get psyched to go again and do more and more - it's all about switching your addictions to the better path

I had a treadmill and used to love it but I downsized to an apartment (on the second floor) because I wanted to pretend I lived in a European flat for awhile (LOL)....so, the treadmill did not come with me.....I'm not the kind of dick that likes to disturb my neighbors ๐Ÿ˜›

Plus I live with the cap now too and before I lived alone and could dance and act a fool around the house but my libra bits don't allow such things when others are present.

He lost a shit ton of weight during our hiatus and his regimen is hard core and it would probably kill me if I participated....lol

I was taking walks in the park with my Taurus friend but his son recently passed away and he's just not feeling it.

I don't mind walking by myself but it would have to be in the dark because I don't see much daylight.

I'm just sharing my experiences.

This is why I don't talk about this stuff publicly. If you read the first few pages you will see when I lost weight people jumped to such assumptions as me being ill.....now that I've gained weight the assumption now is I'm not healthy.

I've never been "unhealthy" in any state of my weight.

People are so funny.

Weight is such a touchy subject for so many people and it doesn't even seem to matter what culture you come from, someone has opinions, suggestions, advice.

No matter what weight you land on....someone will ALWAYS have an opinion.

You are too thin! You are too big!

It's kind of silly, actually.

I know what my issue is....it's work.

So, I'm currently pursuing a different opportunity that can help undo some of this stuff.

The last two years have been work. work. work and a crap load of stress.

Those are my triggers and that's what I need to focus on.

I could eat salads all day long and if I'm stressed....it makes not a bit of difference.

switch it around if you can then. it's important for your body and mind to get natural sunlight (and absolute darkness) every day to stimulate different natural, necessary processes. if you are working throughout the daylight hours, switch to the opposite. make sure you see the sun. even better, pack a light lunch like a protein shake you can just drink and do a quick stretch/workout outside on your lunch break every day.

It gets hard when you get past a certain threshold of fatness. You crave the food so bad and eat cause you're used to doing it and bored. You're already full but for some reason you think you're still hungry.

I was on a birth control shot and ended up gaining something like 50lbs when I was in my 20's. It got so bad that I would smell things like cookies and cakes and take a bite just for the taste cause my mouth was watering but then I would spit it out. I only stayed on that shot for a year. I couldn't handle it.

So when people eat like that, the only thing they can do is complain about it while they're shoveling food into their mouth. Thank god I'm not one of those people who are fat and pretend not to eat and then gorge in private.

I eat paleo. I probably consume about 200grams of fat a day.

My breakfast shake alone is 75grams of fat but its all healthy fat. Even though i eat more fat in one day than some people do in a week, im suuuuper tiny.

I was addicted to sugar waaaayyyy back. I quit it finally and went paleo for many years. But then i started eating it again. I got super sick and was stuck in bed for almost a year. Paleo takes a lot of dedication and meal prep and shopping and wasnt able to actually go shopping or stand to cook. So everything was just sugar and instant. Its a miracle i didnt get fat. I quit sugar again recently and am back paleo.

Most of my friends are bodybuilders and fitness buffs. They will all tell you that weight loss is 80% what you put in your mouth and only 20% of working out.

For any of you that go to gym...have you not noticed a lot of fat people that work out every day and are still fat af?

Those are the people who think that because they went to the gym they can now scarf down 2 big macs and a pizza. Then they whine and bitch about their fatness.

Or go tanning. I know its not good for you but some people need the light therapy.

When i went up to the northwest territories i noticed a lot of people went tanning all the time. I asked why and they said that its cause it was always dark there and depression is a big problem. Tanning helps. No one goes for the tan since they are already dark. They go for the mood lift.

I'll have to do a little more research but the sun is one of our best sources for vitamin d as well. i dont think tanning under bulbs quite does the same thing but i could be wrong. it happens haha. i dont like tanning really bc i dont think its good for the skin. but plenty of women use them to their advantage so whatever works.

The fried cheese she ate for breakfast was leftover from another coworker's lunch from the day before...Same thing when she ate half of a leftover cheeseburger and 3 slices of pizza!!

I've said something before - like "omg! Is that your breakfast? youre gonna be sick"

She eats like 5-6 boiled eggs in a sitting. ?

Lmao! My worker who isn't fat - complained once that eggs he ate for breakfast were spoiled because he is feeling nauseated...

We asked how many he ate and he said 9.

We were dying laughing!

Some people honestly don't know how much food gets in.

Once I told my customer to imagine how much food she put inhe self that day and she went wow! I've never thought of it this way...

I eat paleo. I probably consume about 200grams of fat a day.

My breakfast shake alone is 75grams of fat but its all healthy fat. Even though i eat more fat in one day than some people do in a week, im suuuuper tiny.

I was addicted to sugar waaaayyyy back. I quit it finally and went paleo for many years. But then i started eating it again. I got super sick and was stuck in bed for almost a year. Paleo takes a lot of dedication and meal prep and shopping and wasnt able to actually go shopping or stand to cook. So everything was just sugar and instant. Its a miracle i didnt get fat. I quit sugar again recently and am back paleo.

Most of my friends are bodybuilders and fitness buffs. They will all tell you that weight loss is 80% what you put in your mouth and only 20% of working out.

For any of you that go to gym...have you not noticed a lot of fat people that work out every day and are still fat af?

Those are the people who think that because they went to the gym they can now scarf down 2 big macs and a pizza. Then they whine and bitch about their fatness.


At Bold Above: it was the opposite for me... because I didn't want to loose weight but, be shapely, firm, and strong...

I watch my stomache, arms, amd back...I'm 5'2, 130 - 140 lbs. and wear a size 4, small or xsmall in everything. I want some weight for self defense. Nobody's just gonna fling me around any old kinda way. I want fitness - strength, speed, and agility.

Thickness can be beautiful and healthy too. As long as the weight you carry isn't around your middle, that's the cancer/heart disease/bad-news-bears fat.

I only read the first 4 pages but wanted to share this and maybe she just hasn't gotten to the point to care yet.

I struggled with weight my entire life and was once close to this lady. Just under 300 at 5 foot tall! I was a roly poly and had given up on life.

It actually took a good friend to sit me down and say they where concerned, as well as health scares to get motivated.

From what you shared she has given up on life and until she reaches her bottom there isn't really much others can do, other then don't enable her and try to encourage her to change her diet.

I mean she's seen me go through my own journey. I didn't have as much to lose as she does so I know it's discouraging but I have medical obstacles whereas I believe her will power is her only obstacle (I could be wrong)

She's asked me how I've done it a couple times and I tell her just start small - don't eat the bun when you order a burger - get fruit or a veggie instead of fries...try not to add sugar to anything - wean yourself off of it if you have to, stepping it down every couple of days...

She'll order fruit once then go and eat everyone's leftovers and get a venti ?

Maybe I take my strong willpower for granted but it's really not that hard when you want/need to make a change. She's just convinced herself she can't and it doesn't matter because she's going to be alone either way

Maybe my new job will help but I have to be extremely disciplined because a couple months at a time will be spent in a hotel.....but the hotel has a gym....but it can get depressing after a week or two....and it will be winter time.

The cap don't seem to mind but I do.

Not trying to make you feel bad. It's just I relate. Maybe she does have medical issues. I have thyroid issues and PCOS. My life was horrible before I got on my medication for my thyroid.

Maybe just encourage her to go get tested, I have to do this with my family. It's hard for me to watch on my sister and niece. They complain about the weight and issues but do nothing but shove donuts in their mouth. So it's hard to want to help when they don't want to help themselves.

She got the surgery from what you shared? She's aware then, she just doesn't give a crap and that is sad.

it is - I come to work in the dark and leave in the dark so have to get out during the day for walks around the building outside and then that will help - I can get my exercise walking to work from the parking lot almost a mile away but it will be dark

I had always been thin since i was lil. Till i moved to this city and hanging out a lot with this ladies who eat so much. They're nearly obese. And i kinda ate a lot too since we always having snacks everytime we're hanging out.

I'd craving for food here and there then Bam! My body just turned up to be the heaviest i have ever been all my life.

I decided to change my life style , since the weight just made me feel sluggish and such. Worked out and ate healthier.

I lost almost 20 pounds, i felt good my stamina just went better. But theeen these ladies all freaked out and started to picking on me said that i'm anorexic and so on and mad at me for being thin. "Encourage" me to stop workout and stop the healthy eating. I cheated for few days then before i knew it, i binged badly.

Gained few pounds back. And now i hate it!

And they seem happy that i'm no longer that thin no more.


You are better off,if you break off contact with them. People always trying to drag you down if you are improving yourself. They dont want to feel bad about themselves (your appearance cause that).

Befriend athletic people. You are the average of the three people you hang out with the most.

I'm a size 4 actually but was a 6-8 at my largest and yes that is too big for someone my size which is why I've stated numerous times I have PCOS which caused the weight gain and I did something about it
