Why would a Libra (woman) flirt heavily with someone but then give a fake number?

My co-worker regularly goes between hot and cold attitudes. When she's up, she makes heavy physical contact but when she's down, she doesn't even initiate a hello. She just looks at me whenever I walk by. I didn't see anything in the synastry but maybe I'm overlooking something?

She doesn’t see you as her equal. If anyone likes you it doesn’t matter whether good days or bad days they will mostly try to show their worthy for you. Your just her emotional support system aka fan club.

Yeah, I've had this problem with Libra women before. Just like every other libra women, when I choose not to say anything to her, she just stares at me whenever I pass her or vice-versa. It's pretty weird. I don't know why I thought it would be different this time. Sometimes I wish I didn't have my rising in libra just so I wouldn't attract their energy.

She may just be a touchy feely person... it might not mean anything significant.

Is the number new to her and she entered it incorrectly. Also a possibility.

She'll bump into me whenever she walks by, we'll make eye contact and laugh alot, and then last night she was playfighting and I definitely grabbed her ass on accident and she didn't do anything or complain about it.

I asked for her number and she gave me a number that wasn't her. So net day, I went back and told her it might be the wrong number and she said it wasn't.... but it still was. So I'm just leaving that part alone lol.

I doubt it's your rising that's attracting her attention. Maybe it's your rising that makes you attracted to her. What is your sun sign?

Another thread had a great reason that sometimes something said that raises red flag in person’s mind and brings potential future to abrupt end.

She's double air. Probably just having fun with you. Take her flirtiness with a grain of salt. Cap sun/Scorpio moon with a libra sun/aqua moon. 🤔

LOL! You can expect air signs to be annoyingly fake and juvenile like that. I wanna believe not all air signs are like that. I’m not but I have seen even Aquas like this.

They do this because they get carried away in the moment. When it’s over, they detach and it doesn’t mean much. Another reason they do this is that they get happy seeing how much a person is feeling good (which is almost strangely altruistic, no?) They don’t have the foresight or rather care what a person feels when they find out the interaction was momentary.

She’s bored and has no one else to give her attention that she’s interested in. You’ll do until someone else comes along.

She was just living in the moment and wanted it all gone as the moment is gone.
