Prelude Part 1
This is when things first started to change for DXP Land.... Tourism was booming while everyone wanted to come and check out the latest dramatic screen play going on at Misc Board Town Center. Even the towns newspaper, the DXP Gazette was still quality. The sun set on that summer day, and nobody in town knew that this would be the last day the positive outweighed the negative.
Sure DXP Land had always been filled with degenerates and cons, but this would be an influx. Even when Terramine had broken out of the loony bin, the town pulled together and brought him down. The first sign that things were changing is when strange alerts had been going off on social media. The chatter of a "super group" was all the rage. A group that was looking to come together and rule DXP Land. Sick of "dumb townies" and especially sick of the "newbies."
All of the people in the land would first become aware of this when they started to receive messages from someone. Not knowing who this someone was caught people off guard. Was it someone that once inhabited DXP Land? Or was it someone already living there and trying to play mind games?
These mysterious messages continued bringing more questions with them. Everyone could not even always see the messages, but you knew they were there because of "bumps." These mind games started to get under the residents skins.
Was this the first signal for the "super group..."
Nobody yet knew, but Damnata was going to figure it out! Empowered by her handy dandy super computer she was dead set on getting all the info she could to get out ahead of this MOB that was possibly forming. However, there was one huge problem. Damnata was already on another case. A far more sinister case....
Damnata turned on her computer to go over all that had happened in that case so far:
Damnata read these newspaper clipping photos she had saved with a worry on her face. She hastily took out her phone and went through her contacts. She had dialed someone up. She stammered a bit when the person answered the phone.
Damnata-"He--hello, Duncan....we...we really need your help. We have to find out who is responsible for this!"
To Be Continued...
Duncan’s Mansion loomed on top of the highest hill in DXP Land. He could gaze out at the whole town from his bedroom window. He did so every morning like a proud papa. He was not going to let the recent troubles in DXP Land keep him down. Duncan was in charge of all of the legalities. He always tried to keep a calm & positive aura with ideas of grandeur that the townies of DXP Land could police themselves. With the several slayings of the last 2 months he had faith that Damnata & others could catch and help take down whoever was responsible and restore things back to normal.
After pouring some Kahlúa into his coffee, Duncan sat down at a desk in his bedroom. He opened up the latest edition of the DXP Gazette. After turning past many ads for the “Church of Teena,” and several opinion pieces fearing the DXPIL was done for, he got to the article he was looking for. An article on how the businesses around DXP Land were in fear the exceedingly fast rise in crime & violence would destroy the tourist business.
Duncan-“Not on My watch.”
What really had the residents in fear is how gruesome these murders were. It seemed as though the killer cut out the hearts of the victims.
Suddenly Duncan's phone had an alert! As he tried to check the message a bunch of ads popped up on his phone. Ads which he had an extremely difficult time closing.
Duncan-“I will not donate to the Church of Teena. It should not even be here!”
He was finally able to close the ad. The message was from SassyKiwi. In the message she had stated that she is downstairs and tired of waiting for him. So Duncan headed downstairs to greet Sassy.
SassyKiwi-“Did your terrible servant Tinman even tell you I was here? I’ve been here nearly 25 minutes!”
Duncan-“I am so sorry. He gets side tracked so easily when he doesn’t take his meds.”
SassyKiwi-“Well I come with bad news…another victim has fallen to the DXP serial killer.”
Duncan-“Son of a cookiemonster!”
SassyKiwi-“Whoever this is we have to find them. Any leads from Damnata?”
Duncan-“Not that I know of, but she is working hard night and day. Never sleeps. You have always been one of the best in town at taking down mafia too. Any chance you can take down this serial killer?”
SassyKiwi-“I’m dedicated to finding this sicko and bringing it down!”
Duncan-“That’s the spirit. We need to put this to an end before DXP Land becomes barren. ”
Suddenly Duncan got another alert on his phone. It is another ad that he could not close. His phone then became totally locked & frozen, so Duncan’s frustration increased.
SassyKiwi-“You OK? You are looking really stressed out boss.”
Duncan-“I’m trying to stay calm, but the towns problems are starting to get to me.”
He read his now locked phone:
Duncan’s increasing frustration rose even more.
Duncan-“This buttery thing!”
He threw his phone against the wall as SassyKiwi looked on concerned…

Damnata & Seraph were both celebrating and wary of some of the latest news. The killings had suddenly stopped! Seraph and Damnata were glad the town seemed to be safe again, but both had different worries. Seraph was worried about his place of work, the DXP Gazette, which was barely hanging on by a thread. He wanted to report the news accurately and thinks the killings will start up again soon. Damnata was still worried because whether there were killings or not, the killer was still out there. They decide to be cautiously optimistic from this point forward.

Meanwhile, SassyKiwi was at one of the supermarkets on Taurus Avenue. Some newbies had walked in which made SassyKiwi smile. Perhaps the land would start to get new people in town once again. She overheard them talking about the Teena Church.
Newbie #1-“I heard she is a machine!”
Newbie #2-“That is just dumb, of course she is a real person.”
Newbie #1-“Teena has never been seen. What kind of people get their own churches?”
Newbie #2-“I don’t know it is kind of creepy actually.”
Newbie #1-“It is, but I still want to meet her.”
SassyKiwi decided to interrupt their conversation.
Sassy-“I could not help, but overhear your conversation about the Church of Teena. I would advise you both to stay away from there.”
Newbie #2-“Why do you say that?”
Sassy-“Let’s just say it is not a church at all. Just trust me on that…”

A notorious resident of DXP Land, PhoenixRising, was sitting outside of the café on the corner of Misc. Lane and Movies Boulevard. She was talking on the phone to her new “boss.”
PR-“I was so happy that we all finally got in touch. I have been looking forward to this rumored super group for a long time. I have been in so many mafia groups over the years I have lost count. I think this is the perfect time to come out of retirement and join another one.”
PhoenixRising smirks as she takes a sip of her tea.
She has an incoming call on her other line calling from the DXP Prison. She has to switch over to the other line.
PhoenixRising-“Hello there….Yes I am working on getting this band together as we speak….we are so going to bust you out of the DXP Prison. Look I know Ands enough. Ands is always running out, but he will get you out of there….Just give us all a few more months.”
While PhoenixRising is having these phone conversations, someone is watching her from around the corner. The person does seem to be both trying to hide their identity and find out PR’s at the same time. When Phoenix hangs up her Scorpio sense starts tingling. She can feel someone watching her. She gets up to look around and when she walks around the corner of the café, the person watching her takes off running, but something drops as the person runs off.
It is a badge of some sort. Phoenix picks it up and looks at it.
PhoenixRising-“Dammit, I cannot do this in public anymore.”
After putting the badge in her pocket, she sits back down at her table and takes another sip of her tea.
PhoenixRising-“Just one last order of business.”
She seems to have a letter from someone. She opens the envelope to a very short letter which reads:
PhoenixRising-“That’s what I like to hear….”

Prelude Part 1
This is when things first started to change for DXP Land.... Tourism was booming while everyone wanted to come and check out the latest dramatic screen play going on at Misc Board Town Center. Even the towns newspaper, the DXP Gazette was still quality. The sun set on that summer day, and nobody in town knew that this would be the last day the positive outweighed the negative.
Sure DXP Land had always been filled with degenerates and cons, but this would be an influx. Even when Terramine had broken out of the loony bin, the town pulled together and brought him down. The first sign that things were changing is when strange alerts had been going off on social media. The chatter of a "super group" was all the rage. A group that was looking to come together and rule DXP Land. Sick of "dumb townies" and especially sick of the "newbies."
All of the people in the land would first become aware of this when they started to receive messages from someone. Not knowing who this someone was caught people off guard. Was it someone that once inhabited DXP Land? Or was it someone already living there and trying to play mind games?
These mysterious messages continued bringing more questions with them. Everyone could not even always see the messages, but you knew they were there because of "bumps." These mind games started to get under the residents skins.
Was this the first signal for the "super group..."
Nobody yet knew, but Damnata was going to figure it out! Empowered by her handy dandy super computer she was dead set on getting all the info she could to get out ahead of this MOB that was possibly forming. However, there was one huge problem. Damnata was already on another case. A far more sinister case....
Damnata turned on her computer to go over all that had happened in that case so far:
Damnata read these newspaper clipping photos she had saved with a worry on her face. She hastily took out her phone and went through her contacts. She had dialed someone up. She stammered a bit when the person answered the phone.
Damnata-"He--hello, Duncan....we...we really need your help. We have to find out who is responsible for this!"
