Hair Color/ Will You Please Give Me Opinions

I'm thinking about coloring my hair again. Right now it's blonde, but I'm thinking about dying it dark again.

I'm looking for male and female opinions, on which one is better? Please see pics to evaluate.

I think if you still have your blonde hair, you should go for lowlights.

You can also add more volume to your hair by messily parting it to the side or by curling it turning it into a messy bun

The blonde is lovely on you but a dark red would give you a stronger energy 🙂

But I do agree with whoever said to keep some blonde highlights - brightens your face

(If I credited the wrong person, sorry-- will

correct).

Teal and dark pink highlights... Try it once. It looks beautiful

The problem with red is that reds fade fast and given you've bleached the fuck out of her hair to go blonde means the red will fade faster and turn pink. A coworker of mine did this and not only was it red, but it was a brighter red than the burgundy it was supposed to be. The ends are now turning pink because of all the fading. I'm not sure what your natural color is, OP, but if your hair is naturally darker than blonde, you should let it grow out back to its natural form before attempting a red shade. The new growth would likely hold color better since the follicles haven't been beaten up from all the dying.

I agree with Lilliani- go in between. That dark washes out your features, and your thinner eyebrows sort of get lost in the mix. With the blonde, they stand out more. Going in between would enhance facial features better vs the two drastic changes.

Ooh, something else to consider along the lines of brown- I know someone who did a color that I would call "rose gold." It was a reddish brown, but had almost a rosy pink undertone to it. It was a really, really nice color and she was going from much lighter to a darker shade.

You could pull off some of the red coloring as well as lighter blonde/highlight look all in one.

This is the closest I could find that matched color wise. Hers had a little more brown vs red in it though, Search "rose brown hair color" or "rose gold hair color" and you'll see a few variations. All are really pretty.

I like both equally.

So you can switch to either IMO.

2 years ago I've bought stuff to get auburn.

Instead it turned hot cherry! Like so red - people would jump! Most loved it and very few didn't. That was crazy!!!

It's balayage (method), and I believe the

highlights are burgundy and blonde on light

brown hair.

Both work. I prefer blonde though. I think if you do go Dark go a warmer dark. But I think blonde suits you 🙂

dark looks more classy. instead of just one brown tone you could opt for lighter brown highlights to soften up your face a bit.

also maybe look into "bronde"; it's the ideal tone of blonde and brown.

make sure your stylist considers your skin undertone; (cool or warm).

ps: not trying to be mean; but your eyebrows are very harsh which gives your face a hard expression .....unlike your obvious bubbly persona ?

Petals- As exciting as those colors sound, I don't think that would be a good choice for a woman my age or professionally. But, to have it temporarily (maybe a day or two), sounds fun. ??

You're lucky though, you have that skin tone that makes you look good with any hair color. I would look hideous as a blonde lol. I can do brown with blonde or honey colored highlights and that's it 🙂

I think brown looks better. If you want to go brown, mahoghany is a great color- brown with red highlights in it. Instead of getting highlights, my hairdresser puts toner on after the brown. In the sun, the red shimmers & I always get compliments on it.
