Guuuh. This world was not made for night owls. I dread waking up in the morning. Say you wanna be that person that wakes up to the sunset doing yoga/meditation/mindfulness? That implies you're going to bed by 9pm or something... when that's my dindin time?? Maybe I have shitty time management skills since I feel like I can never get enough things done in a day. I think it's mostly cause I need like 8 hours of sleep minimum plus another hour afterwards lying in bed to wake my head. I feel like I can't exercise or workout ever unless I stop working cause I hate commuting to the gym. Commuting takes up soo much time. I'm already driving like 10 hours a week for work. I hate driving but at the same time it's relaxing because it feels like the only time in my day where I get some me time. I can do that with a chauffeur too tho. But I have a shit ton of other things I wanna manifest before I get to that 😆 The pandemic has ruined my social life but I'm slowly working on building it. I used to never be the one to reach out to others first, but now I do and lo' and behol', it causes them to want to meet up with me. Almost like sorcery if you ask me...

I wanna hear about your mundane lives or idk maybe you're secretly Simon Leviev. I'm trying to find that bastard's birthdate.

Do workouts at home then. Eventually your natural sleeping cycle will get you to bed early and wake you somewhere between 6 and 7 am.

I have some workout and exercises equipment at home that I'd love to utilize but tbh by the time I come home, either I'm taking a relaxing 1 hour shower (lots of prep and steps involved) or my husband wants to spend the rest of the night with me clung to me like a baby koala. I don’t mind it but then it becomes dinner time which takes up 2 hours itself. Then I have to do my bedtime routine. Brushing, flossing, mouthwashing, retainers, facial care, moisturizing! The damn details take up so much time. Lol maybe other people don’t do this stuff at all so that’s why they have so much free time?! Time literally just slips by me

I have pretty high functioning depression and I woke up at 7am to clean and prepare for the next week. I don’t know if it’s my virgo moon that won’t allow me but I read the symptoms of depression and it’s like- not showering or cleaning up after yourself and I’m like yeah, I’m not fucking doing that, take a shower now.

Omg 7am to me is like the middle of the night. Good for you! Hold onto that feel good feeling after a nice shower. And how good it feels to have laundry done and sleeping on fresh sheets. I'm pretty sure I also had depression at some point but I'm generally content and very grateful for my life. It's just I struggle with sleep deprivation due to poor time management. It's a cycle I must break.

“I hate driving but at the same time it's relaxing because it feels like the only time in my day where I get some me time.”

This helps me get through road rage. 😂

Hahahah. When the weather here down south gets a little too cold, people lose their minds and drive so awful. It feels so good to utilize my honk more than usual but gosh I try to keep away from others and they just get into my safe distance space thinking it’s open space like you reckless mofos. I truly need a dashcam above everything.

The only true peace I ever achieve is when sleeping, and not just even being asleep because I really don't know it's even happening. It's the moments I wake up for a few seconds and can comprehend how warm and comfortable I am in my bed. If life could be just that it would be flawless imo. Like to live a never ending slumber, and the only moments you know you are real are the seconds you wake up for a moment and realize how absolutely comfortable you are. Then go right back into deep sleep.

Where are you moving to? Lucky you. MY HUSBAND used to have the audacity to say “I’m tired, you drive us places” on the weekends
now he comfortably works from home and gets up late and all from saving so much time from commute. If I wanna be able to work from home at some point, I have to help implement the system ughh.

As a night owl myself, I agree

What are your usual bedtimes like?

It depends. but I struggle to fall sleep, it takes a while.

Such cryptic responses lol stop being a Scorpio sun, utilize your other placements

Sorry Aquarius, but I like to keep some stuff to myself if you don't mind.

I use to go to bed around 11 and get up between just before 6am suited me perfectly. I only need around 7 hours sleep to function well, anything over is too much. After covid, I’m struggling to get my balance back.

You seem quite young tho. My MIL is one of those lucky old coots who only need 5 hours of sleep to function. Even after getting really bad covid with pneumonia she’s back to her regular program
and here I am literally 3x younger with a sloth sleep schedule đŸ˜«

Ahh I see your Saturn Return has began.

I feel you, this life wasn't made for us to enjoy. Well atleast being capitalist slaves wasn't. There is plenty of other options out there in the world, they are hard to find but better for us than this hell.

Wait my Saturn Return isn't until another 2.5 years...... I'm not even at the prerequisite of it D: I think it's just me fighting the monotonous daily routine of life when I'd rather be vacationing 24/7 or wishing we had 3 work days a week so the rest of it could be better utilized elsewhere. I can quit working anytime but I don't do well mentally being stuck at home. I guess trying to find the perfect balance to things for ourselves is one of the life challenges. I believe I will achieve it!! So can you!! Fuck the system, you can be your own boss if you put your mind to it (it doesn’t even have to be literal)!! Just believe you already are. I know I do 😁 JUST TRY IT and let me know how it goes.

This literally sums up every single one of my mornings when my alarm rings for work and I shamelessly hit snooze. I swear it only happens in the mornings when you should be getting up soon. It doesn't happen much on the weekends when I know I can stay in bed as long as I want lol. The mindfucks our own minds do with us 😒

Generally speaking - i guess you could say I'm adaptable - even tho, decisions that can lead to big changes in my life - can be quite unconformable at times. Yet, waking up early in the morning was always a big struggle for me (hard to adapt - even after years of practice). Quite visible - even performance wise (how i function/functioned in the morning - it's like half the brain is still partially asleep). Morning shifts always felt like being in the passenger's seat... was present - but never fully.

Big time night bird here. I like to stay up all night long and eat and drink beer and if I drive I try to do that at dusk when the hot miserable sun is down. I can't do too much daytime driving as my vision gets impaired. I'm a late sleeper. Sleep late and well wake back up when hunger strikes in bed.

Are you not also diabetic? Unconcerned with eventually being on dialysis, no?

You sound to me like you wish to have a broad perspective towards life like myself. You sound insecure and coming after me for having a laid back personality for some odd reason. I don't know what your problem iz but you need to leave me alone and get off the bandwagon.

Hm so I see you don't like food much and don't have a woman to fine dine with at home. I can easily tell you're a big fan of Donald trump and an extrovert.

This my final time replying to you unless you have something relavant or something important to talk to me about. Otherwise I'm busy continuing on doing exactly what you're oppose of and that's eating a nice big healthy man sized Sunday dinner.

Lol even during my school life, mornings were such a drag for me no matter how much sleep I got. I lived off severe perpetual sleep deprivation during college but always felt the most energetic during the night. I'm sure I often started hallucinating at some points. And 100% I know which parent I would get that gene from.

Former night owl here. Now I wake up at 5:45 am and take off to work at 6:25 am. After work I get home at 4:15 and go about the rest of my day. Fortunately, commuting is in my favor. It takes me only 30 minutes to get to and come home from work, because everyone on the opposite lanes are jammed going home or going to work. When I'm home though, I usually occupy myself with projects or learning skills. I've been rebuilding small engines in my shack and also working on acquiring things I need to make a mini control lab/workstation to play with electricity to kickstart a new hobby. The covid lockdowns hasn't effected me negatively. I find the effects desirable in that I can be alone more often and if I go somewhere, there is significantly less people. As far as sleep, I only need 5 hrs. 4hrs really fucks me up so I wind down at 11pm and usually knock out at midnight. Sometimes, I do wish, like you, that there are more hours in a day. It'll be time for bed and I still feel like something needs to be done, as in, there's more things I can try to learn, new hobbies I want to fit in my life, or ideas I want to dabble with to see if it can or cannot work.

So productive! That's awesome. I'm so jealous you only need 5 hours of sleep. My husband did not get my MIL's 5 hour of only sleep gene. Now that I think about it, that's really good cause he technically has less time in a day to be up to any undesirable shenanigans 😁

I never liked to waking up in the mornings. But it change recently, as I have little girl to take care of đŸ„° and since she's the best thing in my life I love to be wake up by her and see her smiling at me.

Aww!! I had no idea you had a daughter. How old is she?!

You had no idea because it was last year 😂 she's 3 months old little scorpio 😈😂 it was accident, but best accident in my life. This why I say that Saturn return is big lesson and you have to have eyes open. I got pregnant on the end of it.

Errands can get done at home on line anytime. You don't always have to go out, except to eat out and even still that errand can be done at night. I'm a cancer Gemini. You have to expect the unexpected that we love our homes which is why at times we sound lonely. Work-wise I don't have to drive out in the sun to get to my place of business if I choose not to do so. I can just say fuck it and stay home. I'm my own boss.
