I got rid of my nightstand because all it did was become a giant junk drawer filled with shit that should either be thrown out or shelved. I now keep my dildoes in my sock drawer.

Posted by tizianiIt's a book of HR case studies. Best one was a boss catching his 2 employees having sex in the storage closet, when he decided to suddenly go into the office on a Saturday morning.Posted by Ram416HR management is the worst thing I've ever studied.
My Nikon D90 and its lenses.

Posted by LePetitFiskI can't do that.... πPosted by nevesDon't pay your rent for the next few months and it will provide you with the nightstand experience you need.
I don't have one. In Europe their more common in hotel rooms - but i never lived in a hotel. πclick to expand

Posted by LePetitFiskOh wait... hotels are free this days? πPosted by neveslol. Nothing got lost in translation. Oh wait... it's quite likely that i was thinking about something quite different. π I took your line to literally - and thus - my response was quite concise as well. What i meant is... If i rent a place - I'm bound to pay the rent or leave (i can't live with the shame of being in debt / debts or a rare thing for me - and usually related to small sums - which i'm bound to pay back asap - 5 $ or so from a friend - but i can indulge a bit more if it's family helping out with something more serious).
But now i just remembered that - there's such thing as "one night stand" and some people chose to pay their rent in nature... π³
Ooooook, no comment on that one.π

Posted by LePetitFiskNaaaah! Definitely not. π I can sleep like baby - even in a living room - if i'm good company. As was the case not so long ago (back in august) - while visiting some friends from Oslo/Norway. In a bed ofc - but not in a bedroom. That place felt like home from start.π I miscalculated (: my mind was stuck on past prices) and was thinking of back home prices too. Since you live in New York - there's simply no room for comparison. I mean, this days - you can find a small apartment (with one room) - at less than 300 $ - that's quite decent for one person. At 500 $ + there's plenty of apartments with two rooms - that could satisfy most people. Even the pretentious type.Posted by nevesYou got expensive taste! I was thinking more of those seedy hotels that charge by the hour and would be petrified to subject the mattress to a blacklight test. lol... Actually do they even have those in Europe?Posted by LePetitFiskOh wait... hotels are free this days? πPosted by neveslol. Nothing got lost in translation. Cause last time i cheeked into one - i could have swore i paid more... a lot more (the rent for an entire weak covered 2 nights... almost).
JK. (: Based on past experiences - i seem to link hotels to work or vacation... The ones where i stayed for awhile - didn't have that "home vibe" - which some of us Cancer ASC seem to appreciate (: well, at least i do). Ofc, i could accommodate to some hotels just fine - if i could afford to live there indefinitely (guaranteed for at least couple of months or a year).
All this hassle because you dont know what it's like to have a nightstand...
The only homely feel I've felt in a hotel were when they were actually homes. The luxury and high thread count bedsheets in those "colder" and bigger hotels are nice though.
