I live in town and my neighbor has a rooster that goes ham all day. Idk how they get away with owning one, must live right on city limits.
Personally I wish I could own an owl more then anything. You need a special bird permit to own them though.
I think it would be awesome to own a tame crow/raven also
I had a tortoise a few years back. I named him Butch and would take him to the park and let him wander around. I also took him to the beach and let him wander in the sand. He loved strawberries, spinach and tomatoes. He hated bath time. I miss him. He was a cute little squirt.

Raven would be cool.
Id would like a wolf or a fox.
Aquatic turtle... My sweet Hector.
One day my daughter and I were sitting in the den when we heard a knock at the garage door. We waited and heard slight knocking again. We opened the door and there he was.
Our drive way was so step, people were afraid of it and would park on the street. Hector traveled a long way to choose our house along the way.

I've had mice. They were a dream come true. They just don't live long. I had three white albinos...Ren, Zippy, and Stimpy.
I have a ball python. I got him at a reptile expo and there were some other odd pets there. Like some sort of giant centipede, snapping turtles, etc.

Lol, this is random!
No, actually my Gem and I were moving in together (in a different place) so I had to give him up to a family friend because our new place wasn't big enough for his 'turtle-table' (kinda like a wooden cage for him that he had room to meander in).
I have a Curly Hair Tarantula, his name is Ruin, he's so cute! I have pics of him on my Instagram my IG name is nocturnus_tattoos
I have 4 North American red-eared sliders.
A friend of mine once owned an albino python but he had to give it away cos he was migrating to another country.

I has a chinchilla. He's the cutest thing I've ever seen and the softest thing I've ever loved.
Love snakes! I want to get another coral glow morph or axanthic and name him lettuce 😄
I've had ferrets, mice, rabbit. Most "exotic" pets right now are my baby crawfish. I want to get sugar gliders in the future.

Most exotic petI had was a rescued bush baby. King Kong....But i grew up on a farm so we had many "pets".
We had a Turkey called George. Mean old thing. Would chase you down if you went into his "territory" part of the garden.
I'm a snake girl - rosy boa. TessS was her name. I just lost her (after 22 years!) this February. Want to get another but not sure I want another snake for 22 years - LOL! And they say Gemini's can't commit - HAH!
What was your relationship like? And why did you two break up?

Lol. I really have a monkey. It's complicated though.
I have had ducks, rabbits, a pigeon, turtles, mice ... nothing really exotic - I played games with my my favorite duck named Daffy; my rabbit and I used to lay on the porch and read in the hot afternoons; the pigeon named Squeaky grew up on bread and water and made it to adulthood and reintegrated into the neighborhood.
I took care of many animals at the wildlife center where I worked years ago. Sugar gliders were neat but were not friendly; iguanas; pythons; birds, squirrels, bunnies, raccoons, possums, groundhogs; fawn; skunks; bats; heron; too many to mention.

Sugar gliders are so cool. Aren't they nocturnal?
