How deep does Pisces truly feel?

Pisces feels deeper than any other sign, but we know how to cover up our emotions, we don't like showing much of our true self unless we are too close to you. we are hypersensitive, no words can express our insights. Plus we are kinda introverts, we don't like too many people around us,.

I guess the question is do you feel more emotions than you let on? Like deep anger or confusion, hurt, crazy.
If i love someone,I express it very very openly.As honest as I can be. That's one of the reasons why Cancerians make a great partner because they feel it deep too. I feel extremely hurt if my expressions of love arent reciprocated the same way. I see it as a sign of disrespect somehow. If I am angry at someone, I won't express that immediately.I'll give them the silent treatment until they realize their mistake and apologize enough and genuinely. I am very very forgiving though.If they don't realize then I'll blast. If I have hurt someone I love,I can suffer to death feeling guilty. I find happiness in little pleasures of life. I can imagine about something and just an imagination can make me feel too deeply. It might sound creepy but when I was in a relationship but far from my guy and would imagine kissing him,it used to feel so strong as if it were 100% real. Our imaginations are very strong and feel close to real. Very very impactful.
How do you measure depth?
Emotions are a personal, subjective experience, but, I've realized that I actually feel quite deeply. My Aqua Mercury makes me a little more detached, as does my Virgo Rising, but... that doesn't mean it's not there underneath the surface. This year especially I've been really overwhelmed by my sudden moods more than ever before and it's been a huge learning curve. One moment I'm perfectly content, the next I'm dismayed over something, then I'm all dreamy. It's not enough to classify as a mood disorder, but it's definitely very... flowy. And shifty.

I'm usually too deep for most of the people I come across in life. I normally have to suppress.
I think that deep people are always trying to search for answers. When they find an answer they try to dig deeper. That's how I am. It truly is the realization that I've learned more, now there is more I that I don't know. There is more for me to consider.
I think when you are deep, you have the ability to make great connections, and they connections keep going.
Pisces are very spiritual...I know I am. To have depth you have to be multi-dimensional in your thinking.
I actually don't consider myself to be deep, because I have so much to learn, to inquire about, to consider, etc... There are many wiser people in this world than I, people who continue to seek more knowledge and wisdom.
I do consider myself deeper than people I come across, because there are either moments where I watch what I say and there are times where I just speak and they are amazed at what comes out. It could be something that I've considered for the first time in front of them.
If you're deep you are always digging and I have a lot of digging to do.

VERY deep! We have a STRONG sixth sense! We LOVE all types of music. We are mutable beings. We have deja vu AND we have dreams that we ourselves CAN interpret.
We can READ people by just "feeling" what they are feeling when we first meet. Females are JEALOUS of us Pisceans because we act, look, and sound like the ladies they wish they were! We attract the opposite sex because we are femininity!
I've bawled my eyes out while watching the Passion of the Christ and I actually yelled out loud, "STOP!!!" while others were just starring at the screen. We are the last of the zodiac sign and we FEEL all 11 of those signs!! We empathize and sympathize.
We pray for peace as WE LIVE by/in peace! Yeah, we are introverts when it comes to picking and choosing our "friends" because we DO NOT LIKE to play "follow the leader". I am an extrovert when it comes to walking into a party and no one has gone to the buffet table yet. Hells bells I'll START this party! I am a hostess and I LOVE to see that everyone has had something to eat/drink, or mingle.

look at O.J. SImpson. When I read about his PAST...he was IDOLIZED...he was. he was the star football player, a God-like vision. But I would love to know Pisces secrets to life. It's like they are the mystics that are secretly scientists OR scientists that are secretly mystics. That boggles my mind. I feel deeply but it doesn't last long. And perhaps its less deep than other people because I'm better at catching it inside a mason jar than most people; without it overflowing. Then I put that on a shelf, leave the room and forget about it. Might access later for experiments, but most likely will avoid it.

Pisces people feel much for a lot. Most people have certain things/people that they feel a lot for. Whereas, with Fish, we are so sensitive that our spectrum of care encompasses a wide range. For this reason, many people believe a Pisces loves/wants them more than the Fish actually does.
The typical Pisces would love a puppy just as much as they would the wind blowing, or their grandmother .... so it looks like the feelings are deeper. But, their not, they're broader.
It's insane, the amount of people who come here to say that they were left hanging by a Fish who loved and cared for them .... when in reality, the Fish never loved them more than they love all the things that they love. But, that's how it looks to outsiders looking in. It looks like the Fish has a lot of love and care to give and a big depth of feelings.

I would say that I have a knack for figuring out pretty well anything that I put my mind to, relatively speaking. I am also able to understand and empathize where I have yet to experience something myself, drawing on knowledge and experience while connecting it to the issue at hand.
To me I swim deep and I I fly high...two fish. When I swim and hit bottom I dig deeper.
When I hit the clouds, I think of space.
I'm a pisces man and was scorned by a Scorpio whom was my high school sweetheart, we fell deeply in love at the very start giving in to the intensity of passion between us. When I was 19 I found my older brother face down on the floor at a friend's house, he had o.d.'d the night before and no one noticed, well as a pisces we cannot handle pain, when we are hurt we will "auto pilot" so to speak, we shut everything and everyone out, also it is in our nature to be self destructive, So after going through this I began to abuse drugs and alcohol to a very extreme limit, how I'm still alive is beyond me, but after about 3-4 months she noticed the change in me, I seemed to have lost my will to live and completely shut her out, and I mean I can't really blame her but she ended up leaving me, she said she could no longer sit back and watch me kill myself and I would destroy her to find me the same way I found my brother, so she left. About 2 years go by without any type of contact and she comes back into my life saving she was so sorry for leaving me when I needed her most. I felt alive again, as if those 2 years of drowning in my own self destruction was came to an end immediately, she got me enrolled in college and it was like I was getting my second chance at life. Well within those 2 years of loneliness I had become a different person, I had obtain a few bad habits and addictions that once again became to much for her to handle and after about 2 months she realizes that I'm not longer that high school boy which she fell so in love with, I had become a drug addicted emotionally numb man she no longer recognized, and she left me again, and for good this time.... I'm 25 now, is been about 3 years since I've seen her face or heard her voice and I don't really know how I feel anymore. Sorry for the sob story but talking about this is the only time I can really feel anything anymore, my point I was trying to make was we are sensitive people and when we seem like we don't need you anymore, that's when we need you the most, when hurt bad enough it's almost as if we cut out emotions in our brain so we don't have to hurt anymore, just be patient and they will return to normal, just be careful because deserting us in this time will do unrepairable damage. Thank you to those who took the time to read this, it really helps me to try n get past this mountain in my life, I wish you all the best of luck in your relationships.

@Damnata, it is pretty cliché isn't it. But I've always observed Pisces expression as serene and calm when it could be the other way around. As in, what other things they have that are secrets? Ha. Just curious. Scorpio obviously feels deeply as well, but it's usually with one or two emotions, not the entire spectrum of feeling. Cancer, they'll let you know how they feel minute by minute. Pisces, not so much. It's why its always a surprise when I hear anger, frustration, fuck all of you attitude in some music by pisces musicians. Like they can be crazy ass motherfuckers?! I didn't know that. Oh well, water settles at some point

I think pisces is the merging of mind and emotions.
Pisces is the merging of conscious and subconscious. You know that dream land that they say pisces are always stuck in? That pisces are always off in their heads, in some far off place? It's practice for diving into the subconscious, whether the fish realizes it or not. Tis our calling.
Most pisces are naturally gifted at diving into the subconscious of others. It's why they can usually know how to comfort people, or how to twist the dagger into their heart. Knowing which buttons to press for the most effect is more than just understanding a person's conscious reaction. It's their subconscious demons. Prolly why, scorpios tend to cling to pisces partners (no shade intended). They have deep inner demons and pisces are good at soothing those demons.
Anyway, the ability to navigate deep into one's own subconscious is out of reach for most pisces because it requires self-awareness. It's kind of analogous to the phoenix-stage of scorpio. You have to be a high lvl pisces.

More mature or heavily influenced Pisces with other elements are more grounded. The end result, no two Pisces are alike. If anything, I always assumed that if any sign had the strongest "deep" emotional response, that it would be Scorpio. The difference between Scorpio and Pisces is that Scorpio's hide their emotions very well and know how to manipulate respectfully or use their wisdom, rather Pisces who can't hide it. I have never heard Pisces as being the cruelest or meanest. In fact, Pisces are way too nice, too forthcoming or realistically a yes sir yes mam. You made a good point about our emotions are 'broaden' which is valid, but your description cannot be preordained as a Pisces. To suggest that a Pisces would essentially love their spouse just as much as a slice of pizza is absurd. We have an emotional aspect to the world around us, but there is a distinction between our loved ones and the wind blowing. As for your Pisces are horrible lovers and people diatribe, do not confuse an immature Pisces with a respectable one. We will stand thick and thin with our partner.
I believe I feel things much deeper than most. But most people wouldn't know it by my exterior. It is also hard to put into words what I feel most times and this probably also leads to confusion for others. I can be hard to read I'm told and people can be surprised at what I am holding inside. Sometimes I worry that by keeping things inside it is too late to let them out, especially in a relationship.

I agree with the with the whole Pisces putting its large emotional range on a pedestal and it being the most aggravating trait to external signs, like a Leo's ego, or a stubborn Taurus. I do think pisces is deep, but empirically speaking in comparison to what? More mature or heavily influenced Pisces with other elements are more grounded. The end result, no two Pisces are alike. If anything, I always assumed that if any sign had the strongest "deep" emotional response, that it would be Scorpio. The difference between Scorpio and Pisces is that Scorpio's hide their emotions very well and know how to manipulate respectfully or use their wisdom, rather Pisces who can't hide it. Too many Pisces, high emotional responses can become paralyzing.
Especially when Pisces people look to be the cruelest, and meanest to the outsiders.
You just don't know that ...... and it's because you're too busy floating and bobbing around in a sea of delusion.
Why would anyone be jealous of such a horrendous quality?

The personal issue I have is that I feel very much and broadly, but rationalize it all away due to my sag moon. I could be hurting on the inside but can't help but mask that vulnerability which in many ways works against me when that vulnerability needs to be shared in order to foster the authentic connection we claim to crave. The pisces self-pity towards our emotional range is the noose our relationships hang themselves upon. Always running away, or hiding ourselves instead of being more courageous in the annoying emotional fuck-ups we are (any leo mooners out there?). On the outside, it just makes us look like ice queens and kings, while meanwhile we get self-righteous about feeling so much. But what is the value of feeling so much if we are too cowardly or lacking in self-awareness of what to do with it.
An ability to actualize our feelings is what might make a wise pisces from an unwise pisces. Not this perversely grandiose relationship we have our emotions, but having the heart to make something productive come out of it.
