ridiculous ... relationships cannot be built on facebook and texting.

Even if he wasn't on facebook and texting her, she still wouldn't be a priority .. his technology is.

People these days seem very stupid to me ... and immature.

Let her pout and feel dissed .. it's her fault for thinking texting her is actually developing a relationship with her.
Good to see you're still kicking

Unfortunately her ex-boyfriend's actions towards her represents the majority.

I have seen FB ruin a lot of relationships....even marriages.

I have a FB page, no pics, no personal posts.

I have been described as a ghost or a secret agent.

I post politics, music, and etc only!

So far,

I had no problems in regards to my personal life relating to social media.

This 'Technology Age' that we're in has desensitized many relationships, communication, and how we interact with one another.

Although your friend's behavior is drastic and immature, it pretty much tells you a lot about their superficial relationship. He ignores her, and communicates via social media, she does not communicate with him, and dumps him because of social media.

In other words.

They're both puppets in diapers.

If he's actively engaged in FB while she wants to discuss important matters then I'd consider it disrespectful, but it's not breakup worthy. If it's general talking then the most would be ignoring him for a bit. Too mich emphasis on FB is detrimental. She is having a relationship with her man not his social media. Focus on that instead.
Think it's just normal conversation

Then she should have ignored him. It may also have been a constant problem in which she may have communicated many times and she was fed up with it.
