Reality Tv Shows

when did you start watching them?

if you enjoy watching them, why?

is it the drama? the fights and who cheats on who?

and is that it's based on real life stuff, with normal people who aren't glamored up,

to see what they do, what happens to them?



are you the type that will watch them when you are old?

here is a good blog on who watches Reality TV.

it just came to me, because I was showing my husband some reality tv clips, from the UK,

and he said "ooohhh I used to watch them when I was 13, 14 years old."

"You don't anymore?"

"uh no."

"why not?"

"because they're immature and lame." then he shrugs, "I haveeee no idea, I just don't. not my thing."

don't know word for word but he just doesn't see the point since his early teens. Further in his teens, he was more into Martial arts shows. like the Highlander Series, and Steven Seagall which he LOLs about now. lol Cause look at Steven Seagall. haha.

also, some Jackie Chan. ect basically martial arts stuff which a lot of his guy friends also are in..



Yet, I see here on this forum over 25 years old and over 30 years old peeps watch Reality TV all the time, even some 40 somethings, maybe some in their senior years.

I'm still trying to finish season 4 of gossip girl

I've never watched that. it was never interesting to me.

I've seen some clips on youtube but not entire episodes. It seems so boring.

I don't like 50 shades though

I don't either to be honest.

I couldn't get past the scene in the film on Netflix, where she meets him in the office.

I find their acting not so good together.

just blah.



no chemistry.



he is handsome, and she is pretty, but she lacks fire/passion or something...

and he seems out of place with her. I don't know...

something is "off"

and she's Capricorn sun/Virgo moon/Pisces mars/Cap venus.

There was a time when Cops & The Real World was quality reality TV eh...

Last good reality show was

Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger though had good chemistry too....



maybe because he is a lot of libra and Gemini and she is earthy?

hm maybe I just don't see it but maybe thousands do see it better.

My hype began when I was a kid when I used to watch Guts and Legend of the Hidden Temple-the reality game shows. Then I remember watching as far back as when Wife Swap aired. Moved onto Big Brother, Survivor, Fear Factor and the Bachelor-the theme being competitive shows. I started losing interest when I realized a lot of the drama was fabricated to increase TV ratings and they lost their realistic appeal.

I regained interest when the shows began to account for skill sets and not just pretty faces such as Richard Branson’s: The Rebel Billionaire. He is the owner of Virgin Mobile and was looking for someone to take over his company. And that lead to my fascination of The Apprentice/Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump because he had a group of people generating real life business ideas and apply them to the public.

Now the only shows I like to watch are Shark Tank and American Ninja Warrior from time to time when I can find the time to watch shows.
