Disagree with all Fire Signs?

I’m a Virgo (Born 08/30/98 New York, NY) and for some reason all Fire Signs rub me the wrong way. The energy they give off just rubs me the wrong way. I can’t tell if it’s because of of my Sagittarius Moon and Virgo Rising or if they really are as clingy/arrogant/entitled/stubborn as I perceive them to be. Has anyone else had similar experiences/gotten similar vibes?

(Actually let me backtrack and say not ALL Fire Signs are bad, but the ones I met have been exceptionally awful in the realm of friendship and dating).

I like Virgos. I've only dated one but friended many. It only ended because I moved away. I think the mutable connection is real

It's weird, but in my experience water signs are very aloof which is fine by me because I often feel like I need space away from people to recharge. I think that my person issues with Aries is that many of them are natural leaders. Though I myself am not a charismatic or individual I believe in choice and freedom above all else. A lot of Aries I have met expect me to just follow them... just because I guess. Naturally I don't follow them (or question them frequently) and this ends up causing tension. For many of the Leos I've met they seem very self centered which is fine (we all need to be selfish every now and then), but they also seem very uncertain. Like a lot of the ones I've met needed constant contact with me. While this is fine at first after a while I need space alone and they seem insistent on being in my company even when I explain that solitude is what I need most. The lastly Sagittarian people are just stubborn, but I'm also a Sagittarius moon... takes one to know one I guess. Either way the similarities in our personality causes us to but heads.

I've read on here and in other places where fire signs express irritability or annoyance from their like element.

Could be the sun. Could also be something else (Mars or Mercury, etc).

I'm Virgo. I get along with the fires. I do have all three Air signs in me so it could be why. The only time I could recall when I was rubbed by them the wrong way is when I got babied and steamrolled when I'm just trying to do my thing at work. Idk why. The work was cake and I knew what I was doing. It's like we weren't on the same team.

I've read that a lot of places as well. It just turns out that a lot of fire signs are passionate. However, despite the fact that I can be passionate about things, I'm not a high energy person. I want to have friends who are tame, and routine based and overall very less high energy. I have a few friends like that and it's exhausting to keep up with. Additionally a lot of fire signs in relationships are very passionate. However, sometimes this passionate behavior can overwhelm me. I can be very sensitive especially to emotions and too many intense emotions causes evokes poor responses from me.

Geminis are great cause they always reach out and keep in touch, even when you aren't paying attention to them. Pisces are the same. These two signs should be great for you.

gem is good for virgo coz they're attentive but not suffocating

aries is okay but they're too insistent and bad-tempered. sometimes i am the same but i don't like how that impedes convos when it happens and i get too sensitive over it. reminds me of my relationship with my dad yuck! i don't want someone that dominating in my life.

With fire signs its extreamly important that the boundaries and needs are set right at the start. Most will either understand and go with it, or just leave then and there. If you require a decent amount of freedom they need to know before things get intense. They will feed off the energy or impression you give them. So if you constantly stroke their ego or seem like you constantly want to be around them, they will think they are fully in control of the relationship. They just naturally do. It can be hard to not act like that with fire signs too, because their passion typically makes people fall for them quickly. Because of that no one really set any boundaries, or was their normal everyday self. It was just fun, excitement, and passion while forgetting you're still trying to get to know the person. Eventually a reality check will come into play for you both, both of you will get the wrong impression on who the other person really is, and the relationship leaves on bad terms. Fire natually has a tendency to burn things, even when that wasn't their intention.

In terms of dating or friends? Fire signs are cool. Air signs are even cool3r. Earth signs are so kick-backed and chill. Water signs? Could get deep but mostly weird and...no. Would love to go toe to toe with an actual Scorp though.

I can understand that you’re upset (and probably feel attacked), but that wasn’t the intention of starting the chat. I was just curious to see if other people had similar experiences to me or reasonings as to why they didn’t get along with Fire Signs.

When I meet someone I don’t ask their sign and then act any particular way. I meet someone and treat them like I would anyone else. When I get to know them better they tend always (without fail) were Fire Signs. That’s not to say Fire Signs are bad at all or that there’s anything wrong with them, but all the people I’ve met that a I didn’t like happen to be Fire Signs. I guess a more accurate statement would be I’ve met a lot of Fire Signs that I didn’t like not that I dislike all Fire Signs (as I haven’t met every Fire sign in the world).

(Also I would recommend maybe asking me to explain my point of view instead of just getting offended and making assumptions. This is a forum and we can definitely talk about it. It’s the reason I started the port to begin with)

A family member I grew up with is an Aries and he has no sense of boundaries (nor does he understand that boundaries are needed). He has good intentions and ideas, but his poor execution is what really upsets me. Not a bad person, but if it’s not about anything he’s passionate about, then I try not to engage him. Love him, but we always seems to stand on opposite sides of just about everything.

Cancer men seem creepy to me. They give tons of gifts out of the blue, rub their bodies all over you and pretend they don’t know what they’re doing. They get upset at small things then go pout in a corner and ignore you, without saying what they’re mad about. It’s just annoying and childish to me. Like- Open your mouth, use your words!

And they talk too much about random stuff. Nothing is cohesive, it’s all just random, shallow stuff to get conversations started.

Maybe I’ve just had bad experiences with them. But they annoy me.

There is only one at work that I think is hilarious and super cool but he is a fiery Cancer with a Sag moon. He doesn’t act like a typical cancer man.

Is it strange that I haven’t experienced any of this with any Cancers I know? A lot of the ones I’ve met are touchy-feely, but still aloof and kind of distant. Which I appreciate a lot. It gives me the freedom to do as I please without someone telling me anything (sometimes I just want to be reckless).

All of my closest friends are ALL water signs in either the Sun or Moon. Scorpio, Cancer, and Pisces. I tend to like them all. A lot of the winds sign I meet are super chill which is favorite quality in a close acquaintance. Earth Signs can be very hit or miss to me. We both tend to have a lot of the similar habits, which can be both good and bad. Fire Signs...

This is why I say people need to speak up when they have a problem with an Aries. I'd say Aries champions choice and freedom far more than some water signs. It's why we Rams sometimes don't get along with some fellow Rams to begin with...because you probably have 2 Aries who both thinks they know best and neither wants to follow the other. So I think Aries would probably understand your need of freedom and choice, since they probably have the same desire, imo.

If you have an Aries that wants you to follow and then gets frustrated when you don't, it's probably because they believe they are trying to show you the best way and gets frustrated that you don't see it in the same way they do.

I'd probably just go something like "hey thank you for the suggestions, but I need to evaluate and come to my own conclusions."

PS - This is only if Ram cares and respects you. Otherwise, they probably have already moved past it.

Sag...dont know many but the ones I do know are just meh to me. I find them uninspiring and they dont create any interest or intrigue. So I always end up bored eventually. Ir forgetting about them completely.

Leo...fuck Leo's... I have never met one that wasnt a fake bitch. Like seriously!!!! The ones I know will be fake friendly/ interested in a person just for the way it "looks" .. they actually really really give a shit about how everyone sees them. Comes off desperate,attention seeking and also corny asf...I'm not sitting with them bitches🖕🙄

Aries tends to be not good with subtlety in general, imo. It just doesn't come naturally. For us, we will usually express concern if it's important. So if you have problems with a certain Aries and don't verbalize it, if the Ram even notices it in the first place, it's probably going to get brushed off as not important (the idea of thought is that you would verbalize it if it's important) ... or the Ram may have not noticed it at all.

If you have already voicing concern and the concern got discarded, well...I tend to keep distance from those type of people, even if they are fellow Aries. But that's not a sign thing. It's a people thing. I had a Taurus who would keep trying to use me to help him with homework, and I just stopped responding altogether.

I as someone with a lot of Virgo and Leo in their natal chart I am sensitive and get offended VERY easily which is just something I can’t help. If someone does something that offends me I usually let it slide because in my opinion I’m probably just being overly critical, or overly sensitive. However, there are a few things that will REALLY make me upset to where I feel I have to bring it up to someone. The way I see it (and anyone who knows me well would vouch for this) if I’m voicing a concern that means it’s something bothering really badly. If someone continues to do that something then I get I terminate all association with that person (not necessarily because I want to, but because I feel I may never be happy when I associate with this person).

I guess another reason why I never feel the need to mention things to people is because I’ve done so to many people in the past before (fire sign or not) and they’ve all just ignore what I have to say or really don’t care (which is usually shown threw subsequent actions). So perhaps it’s unfair to judge Aries’ as a group for that one.

On the note of people being awful I understand completely. I think people may seem to think that I dislike a person for being a Fire Sign and that’s not the case. I just know a lot of awful people, with bad traits, that just so happen to be Fire Signs. I was more curious to see if this was just a ‘me experience’ or if other Virgos just so happen to go through similar things.

I can be all of these things, but so can most other people in one way or another. But I did concede in later messages that I basically share a lot of similarities with people who have a Fire Sign in their Sun/Moon however, this is because I myself have a lot of Fire in my chart.

Too much of any one thing is bad, and I think the same thing can be said of two people with too much Fire in their chart. Fire can burn bright and passionately, but flames for me always seem to burn out.

Also if you read some later messages I explain that I’m not attacking any particular sign but only giving my experience

Strangely enough even with Fire Signs running a lot of my chart I almost never let my fire side play out.

I’m a Virgo (Born 08/30/98 New York, NY) and for some reason all Fire Signs rub me the wrong way. The energy they give off just rubs me the wrong way. I can’t tell if it’s because of of my Sagittarius Moon and Virgo Rising or if they really are as clingy/arrogant/entitled/stubborn as I perceive them to be. Has anyone else had similar experiences/gotten similar vibes?

(Actually let me backtrack and say not ALL Fire Signs are bad, but the ones I met have been exceptionally awful in the realm of friendship and dating).

Your sag moon would make you click with fire signs.

I have a few water placements. But I have waaay more fire and earth placements in my charts If you look two posts up up I posted my natal chart.

I can be all of these things, but so can most other people in one way or another. But I did concede in later messages that I basically share a lot of similarities with people who have a Fire Sign in their Sun/Moon however, this is because I myself have a lot of Fire in my chart.

Too much of any one thing is bad, and I think the same thing can be said of two people with too much Fire in their chart. Fire can burn bright and passionately, but flames for me always seem to burn out.

Also if you read some later messages I explain that I’m not attacking any particular sign but only giving my experience

O yeah cause your moon is a fire sign. Especially if youre male it can cause conflict with fire suns because they can seem overbearing and you might feel outshined.

I can definitely be outshined, but I get outshined by a lot of other signs not just fire signs. I tend to get overlooked quite a bit which is usually fine so long as I can do my own thing. A lot of Fire Signs I’ve met either don’t want to deal with me outright (as in I haven’t caught their eye) or wants me to deal with them all the time.

I like to go solo and kind of deal with no one a great deal of the time. Being in one person’s prescience to much is exhausting and always being high energy is also exhausting.
