Hmmm...I know a few Virgos and to be honest, I have never known them to exhibit grandeur.
The one's I know are very humble and put him or herself down to make others feels good about themselves.
I have never seen them play the victim. It really is not their style . They are "hard" and real people. I rarely see their emotions, so their is no sympathy needed.
Just my opinion. I am not saying you are wrong.
I was not rejected by a virgo.
I read forums here about them and it's the same questions again and again and again...why do they disappear, hot and cold behaviour, punishing with silence...etc...
I think I understand what your trying to say except for the fact that most of these topics on here about virgos are written by not-virgos...
Soooo what we not-virgos experience is our own (blown up) perception and not the reality of how they actually view the situation.
Like for example, you talk about punishing with silence. It's not punishing, they just have to figure out how they feel about a situation and literally don't have time for all your worries and thoughts about it too.
It's that simple.
But it seems a lot of people want to throw in some extra "juice" and make a situation more intense than it is (which is why most virgos choose to deal with it themselves in the first place and we can learn a lot from that)

If I come across as Hot & Cold to someone that I'm involved with, it's because my heart and my head are in conflict about said person and their actions.

Sorry OP but you're really showing here how much you don't know about the essence of Virgos.
Like any other sign there might be some rotten apples, and trust me being raised by one I know Virgo's shortcomings all too well, but as a whole Virgos have a conscious and are one of the most if not the most compassionate sign in the zodiac. They just don't express it openly. Very much the opposite of a narcissist.
I feel that the reason why Virgos receive a lot of bashing is because people expect Virgos to constantly serve their interest, even if it goes against the virgos own personal interests. I don't see this with other signs as much (maybe pisceans to a degree too). You can't force a person to do things your way if they don't want to though, and people seem to get angry when the Virgo won't play along.
It's like people want to forget Virgos are a) human, and b) very much have a mind of their own, moreso than most signs.
People stay wanting to mold mutables into whatever they think we should be lol

I think Virgo's are probably the most selfless sign in the Zodiac. They seem to be genuinely giving of themselves and all the one's I know and interact with go out of their way to accommodate folks, but within reason. I, myself have my Virgo in Moon, so I can definitely relate.
I have two brothers that I am extremely close to that exhibit the same behaviors. My baby brother is a different breed of Virgo though...lol. He may be more on that Narcissist side a little more, but then again, his rising sign is Aries, so at times the mean, nastiness and vindictive side of his personality seem to out weight the logical side of his character. He really can't help it, but I love him just the same.
I just think the rest of your horoscope also makes a difference in your personality, so in that sense, all Virgo's are not the same, and I think that's where CLOSE MINDED people, (and lord knows there's enough of them on this site) lack the common sense to know that you can't generalize and label an entire group of people as the same.

Well... not my job to understand things for people who don't get it.
My brother is now 45 and going through a divorce. He confessed to everyone in the family (except me because I did what Virgo's do best - I "iced" him) that he was wrong in how he treated his children. He had always been "too hard" on them. Forgetting that they were children who needed guidance and help. Looks like he forgot that his children were human, with minds of their own. Must've been my brother's four planets in Virgo.
A friend of mine grew increasingly demanding of my time, and service. Completely forgot about what it meant to be a friend. In the end he became insulting. He too forgot that I am a human being, with my own interests, and that I don't live for him.... Must've been HIS four planets in Virgo.
This thread bought to mind an old male Virgo friend of mine I haven't seen in years. Now he's 38, and still single. Never had a relationship that lasted more than a year. He told me, verbatim, "If you're not perfect you're wasting my time." I was never interested in him, and I felt sorry for anyone who was. Anyway, looks like another case of a Virgo not remember that people are humans.
The female virgo's I've know were all pretty cool. Still, it seemed like they were never all that crazy, or all that happy with anyone in their personal lives. Some signs are never satisfied.
I am a Gemini. I too forget that people are only human. Must be that Virgo moon of mine.
