Yea I feel like my rising plays a significant role in my personality . More so superficially but it's there & it counts .. I'm a perfectionist & I can't allow myself to skip over details . I'm not a perfectionist in every aspect of my life though .

If you were going to follow transits everyday or week then yeah, rising sign is the only sign you need. Sun sign is pretty meaningless in that sense.But like we both said, I don't really like transits neither do you.
Yea I just think transits can get confusing . I still feel the rising though.. There's so much other stuff in astrology to remember & learn.. Then there's these crazy transits .. I'm like ? Lol

Also, I too feel that my rising is most dominant in my chart, it has some important aspects, and most of my chart is full of water, it feels more dominant.
I think it's sun, moon, rising, in that order, then aspects to them via outer planets. if someone has pluto on the ascendent that makes pluto pretty important compared to otherwise. someone with few aspects with pluto in their chart wont have pluto as an important planet.

I hardly feel and identify as an Aries... even though I'm Fire dominant, Aries dominant and a Solarian. Kind of bums me out because all that Fire energy is there, but I'm having a hard time tapping into it. I've no doubt inherited the temperament trait though...
Its diffrent stuff, Sun is pure energy, its EGO, you dont do nothing with that, only at personal level, if you find your energy, you will be healthier.
Rising, is the first angle you do from earth to outside universe, its from earth and not otherwise. Angles count on earth, they count has your behavior.
When we reach some adult age we start to be more like rising, and why? just see this example, as a child you are alot of pure energy, childs have true feelings and so on, and when you grow up, we think more, we are more false. Thats why rising sometimes is said to be the face or superficial, the false face of your sun.
If you look at animals, they are not rational like us, they dont know the angles, they only feel the energy, they are only ruled by planets! Therefore for animals sun is more relevant.

I see.. My midheaven is in Gemini .. I feel more of my Virgo rising, way more.. They're both ruled by Mercury though & my chart is Mercury ruled.. Maybe that means something

I'm still buying the idea that ascendants deal with appearance and first impressions. Like I'm Leo/Leo, and everybody tells me I come across as friendly and warm even when I'm not talking.
Then I start talking and the Sag moon comes out and people are like "oh jk she's fuckin insane"

I'm so detailed, organized & very critical but mostly of myself not other ppl.. I'm mostly a humble person as well , I can be cold at times & am a perfectionist .. I have a habit of over analyzing some situations & feel better when I feel useful .. All of these traits are Virgo , not Aries which is my sun sign
