Dogs for the win!!

Posted by BG2Posted by devilandthedancerMade me think of this:
Aside from being allergic to cats, they're too pretentious, smugly judging up from on high.

I'm wary of people thinking they own a cat.

Posted by blackphaseI agree.Posted by ragingfireloveThose issues are all fault of the owner and not the dog. So sad. There are far too many people that own dogs that should not.
I thought I was a dog person until I lived with people who had dogs. Omg how fuckin nasty. They stank for one. Then they have bugs. They shit all over your yard so you can't even enjoy walking barefoot or laying out in the grass for fear of stepping in a trap. The one home I stayed in the dog chewed it's own skin off so if had these sores all over it, farted all the time, begged for your food and wasn't above snatching it off the table (or even out of your own hand) if given the chance. Loud af barking at every living thing at any time of the day & night.. just nasty.
Second experience dog was old and stank. Farted all the time too *gag*, cost thousands of dollars because it was old and broke a hip or something. Eyes all goopy and if it brushed past you the goop could get on your hands/clothes *gag* also drooled, and barked loudly at anything and everything... just nasty to me. And I hate when people let their dogs on the couches! It stinks, it's just been running around outside, bugs, dirt, poop, drool... ugh
Now cats are coo... they don't smell AS BAD. Get crazy and annoying when in heat with their yelping.
I think I'd rather have a cat though.
Owners are supposed to clean up after their dogs, take them to the vet when issues such as fowl smell (although some breeds just naturally smell more - LABS, they friggen stink regardless), chewing on skin, and bugs arise. And as for the bad behavior.. that's fault of the owner as well.click to expand

Posted by WateryGemOh, Gemini Sun, Scorpio Moon, Mars is in Virgo..
I have 2 dogs, I'm allergic to cats. I was almost hospitalized when I was a kid trying to rescue a kitten bc hid it in my closet. LOL Found out the hard way that it's a no go for me. :/
Cats love me!! I'm the person that they always go to when I visit my friends house, and they always say "don't worry my cat won't come near you".. LOL and then they friggin rub up on me or try to jump in my lap.

Posted by blackphaseExactly! I was thinking the same thing, sounds like you experienced bad owners.Posted by ragingfireloveThose issues are all fault of the owner and not the dog. So sad. There are far too many people that own dogs that should not.

Posted by The_eleventh_sign_11Wow, that was very interesting. I wasn't prepared for the end to happen like that. The build up led me to believe you'd be reunited with your fish but not the case. Wow, good story. Yes, I like Koi fish too. I'd like to have an aquatic pond in my yard, when I actually get around to buying a house, with water lilies. It would be peaceful place for me to be one with nature in my solitude and read or just look into the clouds and think. Ahhhh.
I'm an Aquarius and my Gemini mother has alwAys owned pets and she is a dead set animAl lover she was notorious for bringing home strays we always had big dogs but our last one was a border collie and she passed away 10 years ago and now she keeps 2 shitzu, maltese cross and they are absolutely lovely dogs though I wish she trained them, they don't shit in the house which is good enough, we have a cat who I love but I don't pay her often because I'm allergic though sonetines I let her sleep with me and she has lots of koi and gold fish in her ponds
I've only had one pet I bought a Siamese fighting fish and I gave it to a friend because I was moving and he was really keen to keep him, so I moved to the city and when I came back on holiday I went to go visit my friend and he wasn't home and his room mate was my friend as well, when I went into his room to find my fish the bowl was black and my friend said he left and moved out and left my fish to die, I haven't talked to him since and I deleted him on Facebook he probably has no idea that I want him dead, I'm still in shock and will probably never own a pet again, so I'm happy to be around people who love all animals equally,
Posted by devilandthedanceri'm also a dog person. my husband is a cat person.
I don't believe astrology can determine if a sign prefers one pet over the other but I find it interesting to see if there are any correlations between preference and sign.
I'm an Aqua/Pisces and I am Dog person. Aside from being allergic to cats, they're too pretentious, smugly judging up from on high. I prefer dogs, their good ol, honest and loyal. A belly rub and a pat on the head and their loving puddy in your hands just waiting to cover you in sloppy kisses and joyful jumps just for being you. I Love my dog!

Posted by IllaLupus1st house yes deff a reflection of the owners. Was glad to get out of there I think I actually liked the dog better than the people. 2nd house, the dog was trained but very old with health problems.Posted by ragingfireloveWell your experience was clearly with animals who've had no basic structural training whatsoever. Perhaps if you lived with a responsible owner who picked the shit up and had respectful animals maybe you'd say otherwise.

I hate dogs in kitchens, I do not allow begging shit ain't cute and neither is barking without commanded.
Cats though, enjoy that hair litterbox and if your lucky when the cat sprays your house, can't find it start sniffin. Atleast with dogs you can train them any which way you please. Cats, eh. Good luckclick to expand

Poor baby, the human frightened him. His mouth even opens with a scream.
I don't know how you like to watch this ove and over ..... it's awful to scare him like that.click to expand

Posted by BG2I love my Border Collie! I think they're my fav breed. Pugs are fun, too. But holy cow on the smarts with Border Collies!! Never a dull moment and super sweet.Posted by CantGetEnoughI'm more introverted, but prefer dogs.
Introverts usually prefer cats while extroverts prefer dogs.
I think the type of dog plays a huge part. I wouldn't be able to handle a border collie, they require too much exercise. I'd much rather have a rott, a chow or great dane. Some exercise required but lazy at heart.click to expand

Posted by P-AngelIt's a red panda at a Japan zoo. I think there's a longer version of the zookeeper trying to console the scared baby but I can't find it.
The raccoon is adorable, and all ..... maybe it was an accident and the human didn't mean to scare him. At the very end, there's human hand reaching out, so maybe the human was coming to rescue him from his fright.
