I used Indian Basil. I eat one or two leaves raw, or sometimes make tea/decoction with many leaves for cold/cough. I boil it with water, allow it to simmer for sometime, filter and drink the concentrated liquid 😐

I use drumstick leaves. Not sure if you guys can get it there. I make stur fry. It is rich in iron and is a super healthy food.

this sounds really cool ..I'm try it the next time I visit one of the local herb shops!

Few other things and not sure if this will be helpful but I guess I would like to share.

Amla/Indian gooseberry. It's so good for overall health and gives great skin. If I have a good week, I tend to eat one per day.

Turmeric and milk. A PINCH of turmeric.

Ajwain, Indian black palm and pepper. Roast the pepper. Shred the palm. And grind these together. Having this picture everyday is so good for your uterus. Women who struggle with any kind of ovarian or uterus issues can have this, iteaes the uterus of toxins. Ive seen my aunt make this for my cousin after her childbirth and her stomach is flat af. It went down with two weeks. Whereas I know few girls who have a paunch or something for a year or two.

Okies that's all I know.

Okie not sure if this thread is about this or not. I will stop here.

omg!! and turmeric I forgot about turmeric!!! so I was in target looking for a rash creme for my kiddo ....an indian grandma was like "oh you don't need that just mix some aloe vera gel and turmeric together and put it on him over night" it WORKED!! I couldn't believe it!! πŸ˜„

Wellness ho lol

I am all about plant based beauty and essential oils for healing physically and emotionally. Ingesting is my preferred choice. Glowing from the inside out!

Organic rose petals for home made rose water facial/body toner. Amazing for evening out the skin, lightens scarring, tightens pores and makes skin incredibly soft.

Seaweed, seamoss, kelp, etc. Fresh and salt water things are soooooo incredible good for us. My god. I am obsessed with soaps, facial lotions and eating it in powder form, nori, dulse. Alkalinity!!

My favorite is essential oils in roller ball bottles for on the go. I've got the emotional roller kit from Doterra that has 6 different blends. Tons of plants in each. Plus 2 rollers i always have to have. Clarycalm blend is good for that time of the month. The only time I can stand the smell is when I am PMSing. It has patchouli and I'm not a big fan of it. I rub it on my lower abdomen and above the hoo haw. Makes cramps disappear and is very soothing. The past tense is obviously good for... tension. You can buy that shit off Amazon too instead of one of those chicks that deal lol

I love to put 2 drops of frankincense oil in my 32oz lemon water every morning. The benefits are abundant and phenomenal. One being accelerated cell regeneration that makes you glow so beautifully Check it out
https://draxe.com/what-is-frankincense/

Another favorite of mine is peppermint. Whole leaves in water or oil rubbed on the temples and behind ears when stressed or during headaches

Sage burned in the home for energy purposes and sage oil for the bath for the same.

Really, I could go on and on. I think I was a witch or medicine lady in a past life lol

omg!!!! I love love love essential oils!

I have peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender, cedarwood I put them in my bath!! so let me ask you this can you EAT (consume) essential oilsβ€”

I have also recently been exposed to a rose water toner and its amazing!! my pores look great!

Alkalinity---what does this mean?

I also burn sage to "clean" my home of bad juju

I've tried CBD oil. I liked it. It made me feel really chill and gave me this incredible warm feeling in my body. It didn't really do anything for sleep. Maybe I need a larger dose. I didn't notice any side effects.

I experimented with kava when I was a bit younger. I never noticed anything negative from it. It made me feel more positive. I would love to go to Fiji and take part in the kava ceremonies. That would be the good shit right there.

I've also used valerian root. I took it mostly at bedtime, for insomnia. It works well for me. I don't take it often these days, but I do keep some on hand. The only time I ever experienced any type of negative side effect was when I took too much, or took it during the day. Sometimes, it made me sleepy if I took any during the day. If I took too much before bedtime, I felt a bit hung over the next day. When I take it, I take smaller doses

An herb that I've bragged about for years is Siberian ginseng. I love the stuff. It's great for energy and I never even had a sniffle when I used to cycle it. If you can get good quality supply, it's really wonderful stuff.

yesss!! Im taking notes

kava, yes but not in large quantities it was a small cup during a traditional ceremony and really just tasted like dirt. don’t remember much of a buzz..cbd oil i’m interested in for medicinal purposes, and black seed oil iv never heard of. Think it might be similar to flaxseed oil which is rich in omega 3 and pretty potent. Typically i stick to the basics..apple cider vinegar, molasses, and manuka honey which is awesome for flu/cold or just an immunity booster.

the kava did taste really reallllllly bad lmao ....it kind of made my tongue feel numb but ...I liked the way it made me feel overall... I will also try this apple cider vinegar mixture I also heard manuka honey is supposed to be really good for you!

Yes! A lot of oils can be ingested. You can buy small veggie caps and use a carrier oil like coconut of olive oil to dilute the concentration. You should only be using 1 drop of each oil, maybe 2. But some should never be ingested due to burning internally. Always make sure to look each oil up and you're golden! I feel safe with frankincense in my water bc it is deemed a gentle oil.

There are also some oils you should never put on your skin and then go out into the sunlight with. They can cause severe skin burn.

A while ago, my body was going through a lot of fatigue. I was feeling like absolute shit every day. Headaches, nausea, could hardly get up. I learned about body acidity vs alkalinity and it has transformed my life. I started with going on a plant based diet. You don't have to do this but it does ensure the perfect PH balance of the body. Good PH makes it so all your internal organs (especially the kidneys) are happy and functioning at their full potential.

There is such a thing as being too alkaline which can make you sick so there is a balance. Here! Read about it

It is used in Indian and Sri Lankan recipes esp in curries.

Need leaf, banana plant flower(the purple cone shaped one that turns to plantain), drumstick leaf are all so good for women. My Gran used to say girls in our family are very fertile because of the diet. Pretty much most of these things we eat give us a small waist and strong uterus(according to her). Idk but I remember she warned my cousin when she got married that she might conceive within the first month itself and she did πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

These foods are rich in anti oxidants.

Hope you find them

CBD oil is amazing

It has taken my hand arthritis away

Reduced anxiety ... I was a mess after our lad left home, but since taking the oil am very relaxed now

Within half an hour of taking the first dose, my whole body went into relax mode

3 drops held under the tongue for a minute before swallowing, once or twice a day

Miracle remedy!

Kava- is a beverage or extract that is made from Piper methysticum, a plant native to the western Pacific islands. ... Despite health concerns, kava has not been taken off the U.S. market. Some people take kava by mouth to calm anxiety, stress, and restlessness, and to treat sleeping problems (insomnia).

wild opium lettuce

Wild lettuce has calming, relaxing, and pain relieving effects.

The wide benefits of cbd oil are still being discovered but it is an excellent daily supplement for general wellness and as a preventative measure for neurological and other illnesses. It helps me daily with my mood stabilization, pain relief, as a metabolism booster, and I believe it has helped my thyroid as well in conjunction with another natural supplement. I have experienced nothing but positive effects since adding to my regimine 2 years ago. Best wishes!!
