What do you do when you get sick? Especially if you get a lengthy illness such as a respiratory infection? I have trouble sleeping so this is what came into my mind.

Posted by happyface1Orange juice wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have acid reflux for me. So I just take supplements. I've heard of oregano oil being good and I also heard of garlic being good also. But I don't want to smell like garlic.
Lots of orange juice....like half a gallon or more if you can take it. That's what I do if I even think a bug is coming on. Works for me. Anything that boosts the immune system. Vitamin c is your friend.
Since you're already there...you may want to try oregano oil. Heard that was a good fix for pneumonia so don't see why it wouldn't work for other respiratory infections.

Posted by ScorpioStarGazerIf you look at the printout that comes with a prednisone
All these things mentioned here definitely help, but when I got bronchitis three years in a row it was terrible and lasted for weeks. Couldn't sleep, eat or anything. What cleared it up real quick was a trip to the doctor and a script for an antibiotic, prednisone and inhalers. Only wished I had gone to the doctor sooner!
Hope you feel better soon!
