Never have BEFORE and I never will with anyone else. There was something beyond me that guided us together. I rejected it most of the way. Yet it still pulled me near. Normally, I have way more control.

If you had asked me 2 years ago I would have said it was bullshit lol the people who don’t believe in it simply have not experienced it, which is understandable to not believe in something you’ve never experienced. I’ve never had paranormal experiences either so I’m hesitant to say that I believe in ghosts 🥴 but at the same time I would never try to invalidate someone else’s experience.
I also agree that a lot of people use “twin flame” to excuse their toxic or abusive relationship. Sometimes the whole point of the twin flame union is to show you imbalances within yourself (unrequited love, overextending yourself or chasing etc) and the lesson should always be to return to yourself and self love.. it’s never about waiting DECADES for a married man to leave his wife, or making excuses for an abusive alcoholic etc. and I think that’s why the whole term gets lost in the sauce and is taken out of context.
I wish I could talk to people that have experienced the same as me… my experience was highly metaphysical and paranormal. I’ve never before or since had an experience at that level, and like you… in the past believed it was somewhat imagined…lol, boy was I proven wrong😵💫.
I agree, this was by no means about accepting toxic behavior. From the moment I met him, I KNEW very strongly, that I would be learning a lot with him and a lot about my SELF. When folks started talking about 10 years back it was this out of this world metaphysical connection that 1 in a million people might be lucky enough to experience in this life time.
10 years down the line everyone dicided to coin their abuseive relationship as a twinflame and then that became what it was, when really it was never that at all.
All this happened before ten years ago. It just explained everything that had happened, felt to a tee. but I agree people calling twin flame someone they forget about after a month .

I believe in it to a certain extent. I also agree that it’s very unhealthy. At least it was for me….I became so enmeshed in it that it took over every waking moment. I had believed at one point I had met my twin flame….maybe he was and maybe he wasn’t. Who knows? I was reading everything I could find on it, watching videos, studying up on how to better myself so we could come into union etc. I now see how silly that was and such a waste of time. Of course that is just my opinion. I prefer not to go down that road again. It’s very draining.
