Who sets off a nail bomb in a concert full of kids—?

Heartbreaking
Sickos.

I could speculate, but all the information is not in.

I suspect a lot of minds are thinking the same thing, but we "can't talk about that".

So I'll blame the Amish.

There is a term that has fallen out of modern usage (there's a whole lot of reasons why--cognitive dissonance, willful ignorance): "reckoning".

In the astro context, someone else can comment, but I think its coming.

I hope politicians remain calm. It's tragic. But if it's islamic or Irish or anyone..i pray for peace.

There was just an analyst on tv that says he doesn't think it was Irish because targeting children and American performers are not their m.o.

Please don't put it like that. They did injure children.

But you are right they avoided americans..it's not mercy though ..it looks procedurally 'different' to me though.

I lived in Belfast for many years. Second-guessing every shooting, bombing, attack, etc. ISIS will claim responsibility for this.

Sky news and Fox are talking to witnesses, playing video footage and reporting that another bomb has been found (and detonated) There is a press conference in 5 minutes.

I am watching CNN. The second suspected bomb was not a bomb. They detonated it and it was just clothes.

Hmmmm....that's an odd case of mistaken identity.

Take note:

This is true terrorism.

Not the US government orchestrated 9/11 type terrorism with carefully selected high value targets.

Soft target attacks. If you truly want to terrorise a population, you attack the weak and the vulnerable.

Women, children, the elderly.

Schools, hospitals, shopping malls.

Imagine the chaos and terror created by bombs going off Black Friday morning.

Who were the high value targets on 9/11?

EDIT: nvm, I'll assume you meant the buildings, so what not who.

I'm sorry to hear.

That bothers me. A lot.

My sons are going to see Kendrick this summer.

Brother bonding time.

I have been their biggest cheerleader convincing them to go.

*disturbed*
No one is dumb enough to bomb a Kendrick concert -_-
How many people said an Ariana Grand concert was high risk?

No one ever.

idk..

It's her “Dangerous Woman” tour tho

Just a few thoughts on this...

1) Isis are evil - not sure they are responsible for this but they sure are evil embodied - but they also kill more muslims than non-muslims so their hate seems to be just...well...hate.

2) Evil has existed in some people since time began, and when Isis are gone, they will be replaced sadly.

3) The only time that will not be true is when human beings learn to live globally, with acceptance, tolerance and love for one another. We are a long way off but we have also made progress over history if you look back at how the world has changed. When you look at the global stage a large majority of human beings on earth, countries and governments now live by the basic values of human rights laid out in the universal charter and with time, maybe hundreds or thousands of years, we can achieve that for all.

4) All suicide bombers are mentally ill. Regardless of religion, no one does that unless they have serious mental health or physiological mental issues.

5) Every person who posts anti Muslim rhetoric online or anywhere else is fuelling the hate and adding to the problem, so when I feel angry I try not to direct that anger at the innocent but at the perpetrators. I think the solution is to stand side by side with the innocent Muslim population and not allow Isis or extremists to make this a Muslim vs Christian issue. It's a Good people vs Terrorist issue.

I also always, sadly, wonder when things like this happen how much there is that we don't know. The UK is going through an election soon. After so many years without a big terrorist incident I often wonder who stands to gain from scaring the population.

In the UK, the right wing government up for re-election in June represent the big corporations, the billionaires, the banks, the arms manufacturers, the war machine, the forces that we don't know about.

There's a left wing Politician with similar values to Bernie Sanders who's gaining traction in the polls and if he wins, it's going to be adios to tax breaks and loopholes for corporations and the face of Britain would change significantly. No more government for billionaires, no more unnecessary wars.

I don't like to have thoughts like this, but I often wonder who stands to gain, who stands to lose and why it is that so often before elections or big decisions these seemingly random attacks happen that are always attributed to ISIS.

The best way we can fight back against this is not to let whoever is responsible for this achieve their goals, which is to scare us and make us hate.

Sometimes to defend your principles, you also have to practice them.

We stand for the rights of every human being to enjoy freedom of religion, politics, marriage, sexual preference. Freedom from torture and persecution. The right to be equal regardless of differences and the protection from discrimination on any grounds.

These rights are threaded through the beautiful constitution of the US, and the European Convention of Human Rights which serves as the basics of law for our brothers and sisters across the sea.

So these are our values, and the best way to defend them is to practice them over and over.

islam itself spread terrorism so...

No it did not. It says in the Quran that extreme views are not tolerated and they should show respect to people of other religions. Many terrorists are muslims, but that doesn't mean that the religion itself is the source. It's people's perverted views of it that cause terrorism.

The quran has a dualistic teaching depending on how muhammad or allah felt that day.

I highly suggest reading the official biography of muhammad.
