I love Led Zeppelin...and ol' classic rock, it's what I was raised on. Well that, and 80's/90's rap/hip hop lol.
Good stuff. I think they were the epitome of musical diversity in style and instrument (e.g. playing a theremin/strumming a guitar with a violin bow); creative song construction; raw, dirty electric blues; and shrewd business acumen (thanks to Cap Jimmy.) I also find Robert and Jimmy to be the most enigmatic personalities in music.

I can get down to 90's rap. 90's alt rock is my favorite genre, particularly Alice in Chains and Audioslave. Also have a special fondness for hair metal

Yeah, I never read up much on either of them. I know they influenced a lot of musicians though.

I could talk music all day, every day. I like everything except really heavy metal. My playlists are so random sometimes. My Gem bf looooves Alice In Chains, his fav. I enjoy Audioslave. I like 90's alt-rock is a personal fav here too! 🙂

Led Zeppelin FAQ by George Case is the read of a lifetime. One of the coolest facts I learned from that book is that in the 90's when Led Zeppelin were considering a reunion, they considered taking in Faith No More's drummer Mike Bordin. Can you imagine a Led Zeppelin/Faith No More mash-up, that would be the sickest.
