A relationship is not about needing one another, but choosing one another as a companion on this wild and crazy journey of life.
To need, is to be co-dependant. The key is to remain yourself, to remain an independent individual. If the very essence that makes up who you are, is lost. Then hope no longer remains.
Why inflict such pain on oneself ?
The relationship should not replace who you are. If you cannot wake up, walk away, and stand on your own two feet, without the other. Then it should not be a relationship in which one should ever be in.
A relationship = to be together ≠ merging as one.
Romantic notions are wonderful, but they never last. Reality always come knocking on the door.

We had so many things in common. I asked him that hahahaha and he was just plain dumb and said to me that if I love him, he would accept him for who he is. Lost cause. Lol. Before i left he said now he is starting to consider. He realized he lives in a huge house on his own. But never said anything concrete so I am not taking that as a sign. Ring first. Lol. The notion of soul mates has been so romanticized that people have a hard time facing the reality that a soul mate is more than just someone we marry. They can be mothers, fathers, teachers, best friends, anyone and we are all part of a soul family which follows us through many lifetimes. Hence the common "familiarity" and "it felt like I've known this person before" themes you often get when describing experiences with soul mates. The purpose of us having multiple lifetimes is to evolve our souls in order to keep The universe in harmony and balance. This is where karma comes into play. We each sign a soul contract before we are born in order to learn specific lessons and restore the universe to balance. Our soul families assist in that effort. Hence why they always arrive at a pre determined time. What often throws things off is our free will.
