Taking a break from a relationship

Do you notice if there are any signs who do better/ worse with relationship breaks? Do some tend to actually come back and rebuild a relationship/ use the break as the start of a break up more than others?

I don’t do breaks. If we need a break, we’re broken. He feels the same. If things are hard, we get through it as a unit. If we have to be separated to work something out, that’s a problem.

I don’t do the “let’s take a temporary break to reconsider the relationship” thing. If my loved one asked for it, I would be not only heartbroken, but also extremely anxious about the outcome, to the point of becoming unable to do anything. It’s both silly and cruel. I would need to break up with him just to be able to function again 😄 I’m a double Pisces.

To answer your question, I know of a Gemini-Aqua relationship that went on-off for its whole two-year duration. Another one (Aries-Taurus) broke up twice in 20 years, reconciled each time. It was the fixed partner who asked for another chance.

I just broke up a few mins ago.

and back with my ex.

I just never understood the point. Particularly if you don’t live together, there’s plenty of natural time apart to get your head straight. Asking for more space feels like a cop out. Like it’s not helping get back together, it’s more of a trial run apart.

Gemini - lol - sure have your break and they're back the next day anyway having forgotten all about it

Libra - they don't say it they just suddenly act like they've never even met you before

Scorpio - good luck getting them to take a break, death is the only way out

Pisces - they need a break once a week or so 😁

Virgo - they take breaks and come back closer or they don't come back at all. Their breaks are usually because they are experiencing these strange things called "emotions" and they don't know how to organise them 😅

The Pisces one is so accurate...especially when I was younger lmao.

Now I don’t do breaks, we either can talk it out and work on things, or we can’t and it’s time to cut our losses.

But a, don't get mad at me if I go mia cause I got deadlines and all nighters to pull.

That’s how I feel. I dated another Leo and he used the break card. Turns out he was just juggling me and another woman.

if there's conflict take some space then work it out. calling a "break" is an excuse to do other things.
