With these new covid strands Ive thrown up my hands on dating. Yeah we can do zoom but if it gets to the point where things are going well, scheduling covid testing for both on the same day can be tricky just to spend time together in person with no masks.
Yeah there is the vaccine about to be distributed but with this new strand they will go back and make another one and that will take who knows how long.
Ive pretty written dating off this year until 2022. Then I'll reevaluate. Anyone else that is single of the same thinking about this?
why would covid stop can you from doing the beginning stages of dating with a mask on?

I briefly thought of going but ended up going camping for the weekend.
Anyways someone tested positive AFTER the party. Which means that they most likely picked up the virus after being tested prior, during that 24hr-48hr period waiting for the results. They show up thinking they were negative, negative results in hand, and were in fact positive.
Now all those people are having to quarantine for the next 2 weeks/until testing negative. Bummer.
Anyways... my condolences. Being single and wanting to mingle rn has to be really tough. Like sure, you were gonna risk your life for that stranger danger tinder dick... but now the stakes are even higher in these pandemic times.

Now I'm starting to go through another phase when sex does not interest me so we will see how my partner handles that. So far he's good but I can tell he is getting fustraighted. I'm suffering a very bad depression and also panic attacks since this covid!
I have been through a painful divorce for 3yrs.it only finalised a year ago. My husband bought me out of our family home. I moved by June last year.
I hate being a single mum! I never wanted this!
Those of you who know my story from 4yrs ago with a Pisces guy i fell deeply in love with , will know the pain that caused. Sadly.
I'm not going into that story again but all i will say that i never wanted to end up a single mum with depression and anxiety now. In therapy twice a month and only seeing my child 50% of the time as we have shared care.
I was hoping to be in a rship with Pisces guy a long time ago and when i asked him last week "what do you want from me? What have you ever wanted from me?"
He replied..
"I wanted a future with you."
It ripped my heart to pieces to hear that!
So why isn't he with me?
I gave him openings,where we could start our life but he made excuses.
But when I started ignoring him he would Chase me!?
Now he is still with his partner years after we met and wondering why we are not together.
Yet I am now alone. Without my husband or life I used to have.
And its all gone wrong!
I couldn't fix my marriage because my husband's control had escalated into threats!
So now in Lockdown I feel very isolated and depressed to the point that I sleep to waste the hours away.
I wish I had someone to love!
I've been alone 3 1/2 yrs since my husband moved out.
Lockdown is the worst!
I have seen the pisces guy a little when lockdowns opened and he says I'm in love with you etc.
But now he is still with his partner etc while I have lost everything!
So no..I open my arms WIDE to meeting someone to love.
