Update: Well.. He Came Back

I really don't know how I feel about this. He called me saying he's sorry and all that butter. He sounded really sorry and sincere. BUT then, he starts telling me how in that day that we first met, his ex fiancee contacted him and how he's been talking to her all this time. Like wooow. Really?. So then he goes on to tell me he really is sorry and how special I am to him. Yeah ok... After they had a fight. He tells me he has a deal for me. And I was like what is it?. He says that he's gonna go visit her Friday and be with her 5 days and if I'd wait for him. He wants to see me tomorrow as well. Wtf? I'm not some backup.. Seems messed up to me.

Yeah I know right? He's like "I'm gonna go for 5 days and most likely things aren't gonna work out between me and her. And then I'll be all yours, 120% ."... Um. You said that a couple weeks ago, when apparently you were talking to your ex fiancee. I feel bad because it sounded like he was going to cry. He kept stuttering and waiting for me to say something. I was dead silent. I just think that's too much to ask from me. The nerve.

That's messed up. He wants to have his cake and eat it too and is entirely unashamed about it. Put him in his place. Tell him he can do whatever he wants, but you're not waiting on him because you're not his backup. Let him know you're only interested in decisive men who clearly value you. Then tell him good luck on finding what he's looking for, but it's clearly not you and you're not sticking around.

Yeah. I actually respect that he was honest with me, but he told me that regardless he's gonna go see her. We're in Florida and this chick is in Arizona. I guess he's already made up his mind.

I was like Okayyy. Don't need to tell me that lol. He said he's the worst and he's sorry. (I guess he had time to think about how stupid his deal was).

He goes "I hope you know you were never a hook up and that my feelings for you were real." Saying that his ex fiancee f*d him up and damaged him and that was his choice.

I replied saying "but in the end, I was just your second choice.. and you knew exactly what you were getting yourself into"

Him: "you weren't the 2nd choice.." " you were my attempt to make the right choice, and I failed"

Then he asked if we could stay in touch bc he loves me as a person and doesn't want to lose me.

So yeah. I left it at that. Friends I guess..
