WTF is going on? Losing my sanity with this Scorpio

I understand he pushed me, but I don't understand why.
Causing upset & neglecting me before I went on holiday. It seems odd that he was happy to let me leave the country in an unstable relationship.
To me, this tells me I'm insignificant.
Since I told him & he saw how upset I was, he's backed down (he never usually backs down) & he says he will make more of an effort. He was very caring last night.
I don't want to be taken for granted again & I want to feel importaint.
Does his birth chart give any relationship clues?

I spoke to him about this. I told him he seemed resentful towards my son. He did not like that one bit & denied it. I told him I was always going to be the best parent I can & if that upsets him, then he needed to think carefully about being in this relationship. He's never been like that before & they both get along famously. I suppose he pushed me to find out (scorpio games maybe?) but now he knows I won't back down when it comes to prioritising my boy.

I can relate to the dating a single parent and being jealous .
It's like a 3rd party situation.
I couldnt do it because I would get jealous.
Just keep standing up for yourself but also nurture him when he needs it, when he's insecure. Make him feel secure and that you love him, cause he will need to hear it. But don't let him get away with stuff. He's not going anywhere. Scorpios never do.

Cute couple ? Nah, this pair is the definition of "criminal partners". No matter how different we are I also think we have a lot in common, like our love for unconventional things. We like talking about aliens or "weird" stuff like that. Trust me I could never talk about this with any other sign than them without being judged or called a weirdo. Also so far they're the only sign that trully get me, it's scary. And I like how mysterious they look sometimes, so my Scorpio ass wants to know what's going on beneath the surface. 😄

Like you, I don't play games. I'm sweet & nurturing, but I've also got a little devil in me. Sags try to see both sides & stand up for what's right & fair for others & themselves no matter what. We're not too judgmental either.
I agree, things are great then he needs to rock the boat & create drama (maybe it makes scorpios feel comfortable or maybe it's one of their tests).

When things are great we have an incredible bond. We're a team as parents & lovers. When we disagree he won't listen to reason & becomes childish.
I think I need to learn to take the rough with the smooth...they say a Scorpio man needs a strong woman who is able to sail through his moods.
Also...For anyone worried about the welfare of my son & how it affects him, you need not worry. We have never argued in front of any of the children. They never seen any drama and they are unaffected by any of this.
My partner doesn't have seething resentment, sometimes he's just a petulant child when he isn't winning a debate or things aren't going his way. Eventually he comes around to my ideas....he's stubborn and I'm impatient....so it's frustrating.

Kids take up so much of a parents time & energy, so couple time & activities are restricted.
I know if I didn't have a child, I wouldn't choose to date a single Dad, mainly because our priorities would be very different.

We live together in my house & been engaged for 18 months.
May -he saves my life. He's my hero, everything's great.

I go on holiday things are rocky but I tell him they will be okay.
During my time away I have a chance to consider how he's treating me. I lose feelings for him.
I return from my trip & he is not home. He says he will be back at 3pm. 3pm comes & goes. When he returns, he seems happy to see me & says he missed me.
Later he says I seem distant.
I tell him he pushed me too far before I went away. I tell him he's not treating me right or putting effort into the relationship.
He agrees he should make more of an effort. He says he knows he can be lazy but I don't let him be himself. He says he's frightened off getting hurt if he Iets his walls down. He thinks one day I will say I dont love him.
