Hey guys what's the coldest thing an older guy has ever told you.
For me: what women say they want, and what they respond to are almost never the same thing.
As I get older, it rings more and more true for me.
Facts the old heads know what's up. Now that I'm an old head lol. I have some cold things I can tell youngins but I'm to scared to share it on dxp lol. Men would understand but the women would go crazy lol.
My best friend father is a ladies man he could pull any women he wants. My friend didn't want to date this girl any more and he didn't know how to break up with her. He told him never feel sorry for a bit ch because if she was in your position she wouldn't feel sorry for you. To me that's the coldest shit I ever heard but the older I get I see he was right.

There's really nothing cold about what he said. It is simply the way of things, but I can see how it was eye-opening.

When I was a teen an older head took me under his wing. For awhile he felt like a father figure, he even shared the same sign as my own father; Aquarius. He had a similar vibe to him, eerie.
He was divorced and broke it down to me that most married couples were having affairs. It was normalised. I wasn’t ready for that level of cynicism at that age, but my adult years proved him right

you are correct but on the women side we live in a culture atleast in the west that tells women never settle. But the truth is they will settle and it will be way worse than what they thought they would settle for.

There is a drop of truth here. I do believe some men are blind sided by breakups but if we were to be direct it would be considered “bitching and nagging” so it’s really a no-win situation for us. We’re taught not to be too direct about our wants and needs because that makes us high maintenance.

I understand that but just like men, you have to take that risk if this is a person you see a future with. I would say men hate the talk lol. Because most of the time women start with every thing they don't like about us. Making us feel attack. So I suggest talk about what you like in your man first and let him know you have concerns. And if these concerns grow I don't know if I can continue with this relationship.

In this instance the advice is given to a high school kid I’m assuming. Girls around that age can be extremely callous once they’re bored and over you. They might ghost or fuck someone else or both, before communicating they’ve lost interest in you. Or you’re supposed to know that already

When it comes to a breakup you don’t want, everything your partner says feels cold and premeditated. There is no magic formula to spare the heartbreak! On the other hand, one could cause even more unnecessary suffering with the so-called slow fading, the speciality of cowards.
“Don’t regret it, don’t feel guilty” is neither cold nor hot, since nobody is going to feel only what they want to feel, let alone take someone’s advice on how they should feel. I heard a different variant of the same advice:”So you stay only because you think your partner will be devastated beyond repair if they lose you?? How fucking arrogant is that?!” …….Cool, huh?

Meh. I’m an optimistic pessimist as best.
Staying bitter over a bad experience is an exercise in futility and gives far too much power away to the asshole who hurt you. If all women had this mentality the human race would cease to exist.
Men in my life were never really that cold to me. Or even random men I might have spoke to in a bar or something. The coldest things I've ever encountered were things I personally said or thought secretly. Now that I think about it, I'm really fucked up... The absolute worst older men have said to me doesn't even scratch the surface of what I've thought to myself. I try to keep it to myself though. I've accidentally planted worms, or changed a good person's way of thinking/looking at life simply because I was "venting" Or that is just how I try to justify it.
