Why are there so many combative abrasive people on this website?
Some people like to argue just for the sake of arguing. It doesn't matter what you say, they will criticize and attack.
Just laugh. That's all you can do.

That one person that called me "lame af" for riding around after work listening to music, then later on made a thread crying about how they're randomly mean to people and want to fix itSome people just aren't happy with any parts of their lives and want to give themselves a boost by "trying" to hurt others, I feel like the abrasive ppl with no real motives are the ones that really grind my gears a little
It's like how ppl use exercise to let off steam instead they come here to argue to destress
I think it depends on the mood you catch people in.

I'm going to address this since I consider myself one of the mediators.
Whatever your beef is with UVD - I've put her in her place before in some of her past threads, just as I have done with you in yours (with a bit of advice thrown in. do as you wish with that).
You've attacked me before on the frontpage when I joked with you about something you said (this happened months ago under your previous account) - even when I explained that you misunderstood my intention. And there is at least one other incident where you reacted explosively over a misunderstanding.
This is the first time, however, I've seen you threaten someone over the internet with physical violence.
Which to me is weird, since you're the only reverse astro twin I've encountered on dxp who reacts this way. (Even the ones I know in real life don't react this way.)
Am not asking you to seek validation from anyone here (for obvious reasons), but you might want to take a step back and take a look again at how you reacted to a total stranger over the internet.

But why do people react in a way that they see fit for their personality? Why can't I control every environment? Why why why why.
Control yourself and if you know yourself well and know to be reactive with any reply, then don't ask for it. It's not up to the other person to manage themselves to adhere to how you want to be treated because it's not owed to you.

Imo seeing people complain about people being petty is petty all in itself. So in a sense the type of personality you dislike is the exact same personality that you truly are, and its annoying af. Just don't be so sensitive. You are dealing with not just people into dark shit like astrology, but also the permanently butthurt. Block people if it's that bad. Complaining about it and making it a big deal is just asking for trouble.

This. I think it's a combination of personal resentment and impatience. People come to these boards for help who aren't always eloquent. I think some users get easily annoyed by that. Sometimes I think the issues hit too close to home for some users. Additionally I think some people just use this as an emotional outlet.
