Personally if I'm interested in someone I do the side to side crab dance where I observe and interact then avoid, come back and compliment them shy away again.
If the feeling is mutual I need the person to actually say it otherwise I'll keep playing the push and pull game.

some people really just wanna vent and they don't wanna any help ...so when people do help they lash out
some people really want to be comforted and if we point out any mistakes that they might have made they get mad and lash out
and some people really have it made up in their mind that they are just hitting a small bump in the road despite major red flags and if we point that out they get mad
and some people ....well ... the only opinion they truly value is there own and it doesn't matter what we say ..
and that weighs on the crabs ...especially when most of us REALLY are simply trying to help ...eventually we just stop .. so thats why I said good for you for still trying it speaks volumes about your character and who you are 😄

Before knowing if Cancerian is intrested in you or will be intrested in you, few things must keep in mind about Cancers in genral.
POINTS TO BE NOTED
1. There is no in between for cancers. Its either extreme yes or extreme no, extreme sadness or extreme happiness, either people will hate cancers to the extreme or love cancers to the extreme. There no 0.1% of thought involved to keep things balanced.
2. They are mainly known for their kindness and very giving. So they give their sweetness to every person they meet in their life.
3. They are very very very much tough to understand!!! Believe me most of them are. Sometimes they get confused about themselves. Blame it on their mood swings.
Now how to know if a Cancerian guy or girl likes you or intrested in you. Many of you will google it out first, but trust me! Google itself doesn't have valid solution or answers. Me myself being a Cancer I read all the signs over google and I was like WTF! There is nothing intresting... They were all actually the personality traits and chatacteristics of Cancer zodiac, that somehow twisted into the statements convincing as "signs that concerians likes you". No they are not 100% true. They are mostly our nature.

Comming to my take on how to know if cancer in your life is intrested in you or not.
Cancers can act in 2 ways.
1- they will speak up directly. Because sometimes cancers are not able to hold on their emotions for long and they will speak up, will tell you their feelings openly and be way expressive you would never thought of. That will be the moment when you will realise how crazy lovers they are.
2 - they will never speak up. Right! quit opposite this time. As I said earlier above its hard to understand them.
LETS TAKE INSTANCES. Suppose you have cancer in your life who is in contact with you. And you know they are real sweet, caring, cuddling, sassy, flirting around, being best of the best and treating you so special, being protective, possessive etc etc etc... This things does make people think that maybe cancer likes them or love them and all. Truth..! They are already doing same thing with those other living being!!!! whomever they will be.. Friends, neighbours, relatives, elders, kids, dogs, cat, etc So that doesn't necessarily mean they are intrested in you.
But wait..! This might even mean they are instrested in you.... 🙂

Well not my fault, its not that easy to explain a cancers mind. Thats what I said, we are hard to read and understand!
So Cancers are one of the most confusing, hard to read zodiac signs. If you find your cancer crush standing there all happy and lucky blooming and you feel like "oh she/he is so happy why would she/he will get along with me; I dont think so he/she ever notice me; I did so much for him/her but does he/she realize; I guess I must move on she/he is not at all bothering..." Well you are wrong, Cancer had always noticed you since the day you are in their life. And if they like you they are more in pain than you. So behind that happiness and ignorance there are deep emotions for you. No one will ever know whats in their mind. Until and unles they speak up on their own. Also they are mostly driven by their mood swings. Well mood swings is like they actually transform themselves into other zodiac signs! Yes and there you will see differents faces of cancer in one day. They will go from being Aries, Aqua, Saggi, Scorp... To all other, because they are habitual of taking in the energies and vibes of people interacting with them in their life. So there will always be a moment whete you will be like "the hell wrong with you; you are changing; ur out of my understanding; ur mean" and so on.
Most Important thing just accept that you cannot always understand a cancer. And so you can never settle on guessing if he/she likes you or not.
If you want to know if Cancer likes you or not:
1. Chase them. Yes for real chase them but do not make it a habit so that they feel pride out of it. Chase them ... Let them know u are giving attention to them so that they can revert back. And then stop and see how they behave. Keep on doing thus often until your gut feeling could tell you what is it. Cancer either will come back and keep a check on your behaviour if they are intrested or they will clearly not care about your chase and keep moving on if they are not intrested.
2. They so flirt but thats not enough to tell if they are into you. If you are intrested too just flirt back and reciprocate. Again thus will suprise them and make them to observe your move. Or even they will do it more to provoke you to do same which indicates they do like you.
3. If your bond is not close with cancer just try to build that but fir thus you will have to keep lot if patience. If you have really good bond and you think you had win the cancers trust, go ahead and start asking questions about his/her life, they will love to talk about it. But if they are avoiding to talk about it like not opening up at all and feel that conversation is dull then its the sign that they dont consider you close and are not intrested.
4. Try to trick them. With your questions that will help you to see how they respond to it and react. But be careful sometimes they will know that your playing. Eg. Text or call him/her telling you are sick and not able to deal with it. Try acting in front if him/her like you are in pain or head ach or health issue and see how he or she handles you. Share your emotiinal problem and all. If he/she just sit there and look after you and walk away then that cancer doesnt feel for you more than a friend but if you find any struggle in his/her caring and trying hard to look after you like put more efforts to how much he/she is already putting, then there are chances he/she likes you .
5. If nothing at all work just confess it to them directly. Trust me they will not make joke out of it. Because they themselves are afraid of rejection so they will handle your proposal or conffession at best. They may reject you but at same time they will feel knowing that someone did like them.
P.S. dont be creep or weird because they might misunderstand your behaviour and start to avoid you.
Well all of this may not be 100% true for all cancerians as I mentioned earlier because apart from sun sign other aspect if astrology also plays the role. But some of the above points may have in every cancer.
