When something is secure, you don't care and take it for granted. You'll appreciate it when it's gone, but it's always too late by then. I think that's how relationships when awful people work.

Almost every man I've ever met idealized some woman who treated them badly. Ignored them, cheated on them, never had sex with them, was an alcoholic, couldn't commit. Is it the bad girl thing that just gets your motor running or what?
I mean they like want to marry this people. Honestly you won't see this as much with women because they are biologically looking for a stable provider and someone to have children with.

1. You are looking at it from the wrong perspective. Most men get treaded like crap by most women. Most men will never have sex with the majority of women they meet anyway, no matter how much they cry and beg and most of these women will never commit either. Those who do though will drink, cheat and leave.... 😢

I think both men and women suffer from this at some point in their lives, and I boil it down to emotional immaturity. The "abusive" partner, usually is able to manipulate the other into operating in an emotional capacity that veers towards scarcity thinking. The long term effect of that, will leave residual emotional fallout, that will make a person obsess about it until they are completely emotionally healed and then can look at it in an objective light.
