ahhhhhhhhhhhh so the gem is relaxing now that he has me, however I still have not moved in. Thankfully!!!! He's gotton soooooooooooooo messy, and dirty, and just is laying out his couch. He already sleeps in late (his job allows him to) it's starting to really turn me off!! I wish it didn't, as I love the man.

How to address this nicely, I really couldn't live in this environment if we're going that direction. Don't want to hurt him, but I think me getting turned off and runnning other direction would hurt him more.

Yeah, I'm clean freak and OCD people almost annoy me, but I had to move a few of my items out of the bedroom bathroom as I couldn't handle that room. I wanted to unsee what I saw! lol I love to cook too, and tidy up, but it's nice to take a break. He just looks helpless lying in filth. Makes me feel like he needs a mother not a lover, hence the turn off. :S I really don't want it to go that way, but a person can't control their head sometimes.

Guess I'll just take my chances and saw how I feel and see how he responds. I just feel bad as it's his house he can do what he wants, but if he wants me there, I need to see more than 5% . Even 30% I could handle!!!!

Yea, Geminis can be very lazy when it comes to cleaning. They are no Virgos in terms of orderliness.

I like to use that phrase "organized chaos". Perfectly clear, tidy, and empty rooms give me anxiety. I like my shit everywhere tbh. I have too much going on in my mind that it often doesn't occur to me to pick things up and clean constantly.

He will either love you enough to clean it up, but you'll constantly have to remind him, as in - he will likely never take the initiative to always be cleaning, you will have to clean, or maybe accept that you just aren't compatible when it comes to living together.
nanobyte?

As in the gem with Capricorn moon?? 🙂

My ex-husband was a Gem. That guy, god, NEVER EFFING cleaned. Socks everywhere, clothes everywhere, hair from shaving all over the sick, toothpaste spit on the water spout, toothpaste spots all over the mirrors, etc... I laugh now, cause he is forced to clean up after himself, and realized how dirty he was.

Then I dated another gem after him a year later. That dude smoked indoors, ashed EVERYWHERE, empty Nos cans everywhere, clothes everywhere, empty soda bottles with spit from dip in it, etc...

I am not a crazy OCD person, but I didn't understand how ANYONE could be content with that.

gems do tend to be pretty messy ive noticed. my roommate is a gem and her side of the room is messy too. would be fine with it but she puts her shit on my side of the room too. as a germaphobe and clean freak, that's a huge no no. she'll leave like leftover chinese food over the weekend and that shit stinks up the room.

also part of the reason why i can't seem to get along with her ?.

do you love him enough to put up with cleaning after him all the time? i think that's a really important question to ask yourself.

you could remind him from time to time but that gets annoying real quick.

at the same time it could just be his upbringing (esp bc he's a guy) that he didn't ever really learn how to properly clean? i know my family still doesn't even let my brother anywhere near the vacuum - which is sad.

what bothers me tho is how you said he might be lazy bc he knows he's got you - that's like a red flag for me bc you dunno what else he might be hiding, etc.

and don't move in!!!

wow, he's got some strong earth in Taurus - be gentle and show him the way ... don't push him too much, just state your case and if you want to do it, have at it ... and ask him to try to keep it the way you cleaned/fixed it ...

Yeah, tcta, plus I'm taurus so it's an interesting combo. I think that's great advise. He's an insanely loving man and there is magnetism between us so it's worth a little effort. He was raised be a greek dad and swedish mom so who knows how much that also plays into it, along with 3 brothers and 1 sister.

I did come to his place yesterday, (after my FIRST Reiki session 🙂 ) and he told tme to relax and lie down as he finished dinner for us.

I guess I'm obvious when I'm mad!!!! lol ahhhhhhh the horns must've poked out!

Lol, I totally relate since I have a Taurus mother who used to nag at me for my messiness in the past. We Gems get to our cleaning eventually. But to persuade us to do the deed sooner, you will have to be either creative with your negotiations, or be gentle. When people just push us to do things or force us to do things hastily, we get extremely overwhelmed. My best advice would be to talk about the issue with him. We're open to direct talks rather than given mixed signals.

Kay this might be a controversial solution - but I totally think if you will be living together just shell out for a cleaner service once a week or twice a month it'll be amazing do wonders for your mutual mood and keep things under control.

Best money you can spend if it's something that's contentious between you -just for a little while even... split the cost obv it isn't that expensive might be worth considering ?
