I don't put out intentions of protection - because that automatically creates something to be protected against.
What if the need for protection came long before the intention of protecting oneself? That's almost like saying people that use curios are asking for it and attracting danger by taking steps to protect themselves. That isn't the case.

I douse myself in cologne too but I'm not sure if that's my reason for decolonizing myself though. I don't like being around too much people and I don't like too much people being around me either.

As much as I hate to say it, that's a very colonized response.
Christianity has been used to colonize and control indigenous, tribal and ethnic people for a long time.

its my personal experience.
I had a rough childhood (like so many of us), and what has made me feel better - after all these years of trying,
has been the shift in my mind.
Which isn't easy, or pleasant to do. Its as ugly as can be.
Since it pertains to dealing with all of your traumas and fears.
- And even worse, getting well acquainted with the darkness that dwells within. Your own ugliness.
I am not asking you to not protect yourself, or deny that you are in harms way. I don't know you or your life.
We all have a different experience.

Yes I use curios. Especially for attracting wonderful things and protection. I have always been aware there are people who give me the evil eye (my in-laws lol) and have even been told randomly about it out of the blue from people who are deeply spiritual beings. Ever since I heavily began using curios alongside law of attraction my life has been completely different in an incredible way. The only thing I struggle with is wanting negative energy returned to those who wish it for me. Like I want to see with my own eyes them getting burned for wishing ill on me. I am allowing myself to be petty in that regard as I am still young heh.
