okay so from the talking (casual dating) how long did it take you to get into that relationship? & how long did it last? can you really put a time limit on relationships/marriage?

For my current relationship, I actually waited 5 months to make it official since I wasn't sure if I wanted to date him. Although we count our first date as our anniversary for some reason?? Anyway, we just hit 4 years less than a week ago.

For my other 2 relationships, I'd say maybe two weeks to a month? I don't quite remember. It all sounds rather slow for my personality. Those two lasted 2 years and 8 months.

About a 6months since we began dating.

It takes me about a year to come to terms with it.

Relationships tend to last minus the last one.

I don't put a time limit and I don't like to casual date.

I don't like labels so I'll probably wait months (close to a year) to make things official.

The more interesting question would be how long did it take you to sleep with him/her?

What does it matter whether you made it official after 4 months, 1 week or 4 hours?

We met, talked casually as friends for around 6 months, suddenly started flirty texted for a couple weeks, one date and never looked back. We both knew at that first kiss. There were too many alarms to ignore. Lots of ups and downs. 6+ years but probably only 4 and a half together. I still don't see myself with anyone else.

SO is Virg Sun, Scorp Moon.

We met- dated for 3 weeks, and then he made it Official.

No expectations on my part, he stepped up to the plate which was really lovely.

I said yes of course 😆

For me it depends on the person, my interest level, and most importantly how often I see them.

I dated a Virgo for almost 2 years and because he went through 2 deployments during that time I very rarely saw him. Lots of communication over the phone/skype but I felt like I really didn't know him that well so it didn't move as quickly as other relationships. He also turned out to be a two timing asswipe but that's for another thread...

Typically though, IF I'm seeing him 2xs per week and IF I'm interested in exploring long term it's around 2-3months. If the 3 month mark passes and there's no sign that exclusivity is gonna happen I will move on. Not about to waste more time.

This is actually really interesting. I seem to meet people who make things official with me very fast. My last partner told her mom about me after about a week. Introduced me to her close friends shortly after. And she's not the first one to do so and then pull a painful 180 on me quite some time later.

I'm usually slow to tell anyone that I'm seeing someone new, but when the people I date get so excited about me and introduce me to everyone close to them I start feeling safe, get attached and do the same thing.
