Today I performed my first comedy standup show.

I've been up to ALOT creatively lately. Ppl say standup is hard but I found it rather fluid and enjoyable.

I've started singing and now standup.

Wow. Platform getting bigger and bigger.

A bitcyhh got bars!!

I would like to pay homage to the other black female comedians who have paved the way for my black ass to get on stage and tell my experince. I included a small set of the ladies below.

Jupiter isn't even in sag yet but I am working the hall out of my water grand trine.

More goodies on the way.

Well, i know several virgos, all of them pretty accomplished in classical education (except that one guy who's in jail for selling coke) and they all seem to stutter in real time talk when a pressure of this or that sort is on.

They can for the most part also produce great feats of writing, quite succinct and reasoned, but only if there's time allowed to think it all through. When time is precious they all seem to not achieve the standards they achieve when time isn't of the essence. That's why i think virgo isn't good for impro.

As for knowing you in person, I'm sure that's my loss. 😄

Is she really a stand up impro comedian? I only know her from Parks&Recreation (great show) but that's all scripted. ie time was put into it.

Bruh, that's obviously acting disguised as impro. If nothing else the dude from Parks&Recreation and Tina Fey give it away. And then there's the forced acting from the people they interact with. Granted i only watched 2 minutes of it. click to expand

well there's a whole lot of amy poehler doing improv out there... maybe stop thinking you can put all virgos in a category? click to expand

Look i only told my observations based on interactions with quite a few virgos in settings where real quick wit is needed and the consequences are bigger than failing to illicit a laugh from the sit-in audience.

No need to take it so personal, i didn't mean to take a dump on your dreams of being a stand up comedian.

I think Virgos are witty in their own way, they're good at quick cute responses that make you chuckle but only if the response is short. If they're in a situation where they need to be consistently funny, sometimes they lose the pattern and it can flop.
I notice this in myself having Virgo moon, I can be funny and quick, but can't handle being in a back and forth for too long, especially in person.
I think Virgos are better at one liners, usually involving sarcasm and dry humour click to expand

Ya, maybe my bad was comparing my experiences that have nothing to do with comedy to what's being discussed here. I merely went off improvisation angle and how i observed virgos not being the very best at it.

I agree with this assessment. I know for me personally...if I have to drag something on for longer then a couple one liners it becomes exhausting and draining. I like to get in and get out lol

Jupiter is still in Scorpio and will be for a while. Love and creative pursuits yo.

Lots of SUPER successful Scorpio moons in the industry.

Pro tip: find a good improv group or class with other creative's. Audit different one's until you find one you absolutely love.

Why? Because metal sharpens metal.
Yes. Let's talk about creative circles.

They're not all they're cracked up to be.

I've been in creative circles and they don't last. People get jealous and goals start to intertwine. People become dependent on each other. I dont do them anymore.

I do however, have many creative outlets that I associate but I don't get personal or share my goals.

In short. I believe in creative atmospheres, circles are not for me.

I do have an ace in the hole tho.

I have been blessed with a Taurus mentor who has propelled me further than I've ever imagined. He is critical.
