Kitty litter in the bed is fucking nasty. I would never let my skin touch those sheets
How does one reapond when they realize the condition of this man's bed consists of; heaping piles of cat shit and heavy piss pebbles?

I would help him clean his sheets and tell him not to let his cats run hell all over his bed.

When that didnt work i would suggest sleeping elsewhere but granted that i like him enough i would make upgrading his cleanliness a long term goal.

But wouldn't your faith in them diminish a bit? I dunno. I'd be so shocked to help before even realizing what I felt.

Maybe a little but i tend to give people the benefit of the doubt in certain situations, like maybe no one taught him etc.

I wouldnt sleep there though lol

Yeah. I'd want to go home! there is no way I'd stay - I'd be fucking terrified and itching from paranoid induced flea itches - I'd probably stress out so hard I'd self manifest an illness. Develop urticaria.

his body and clothes are clean. that's why I was shocked how dirty his bed is. I guess at least the previous girls taught him that grooming is important.

no, I can't stand guys who smell.

I guess I will give him a little more time and see if he's trainable.

It's pretty nasty.

I don't know if I would break up with him over it though. I guess it depends on how much I liked him.

I suggest you make it very clear that you find it gross without being obnoxious and insulting.

For example, act weird when he asks you to spend the night. When he finally begs you to tell him what the problem is you can hesitantly tell him about your cat litter phobia. Make it seem like the issue is with your quirks not his filth, that way he won't get defensive.
He actually texted me today and asked me if I wanted to come over. I said, if you have time to clean your sheets/blankets today, then yes. I guess that's too direct cause he didn't text me back 😆
Well hell, he NEEDS to be told soon, obviously. Did you know pregnant women are discouraged from having a house cat? The bacteria in the cats poop threaten the baby.

He sounds a bit irresponsible. He shouldn't need to be told how to prepare his environment for a lady. Or maybe he's into dirtty stuff, who knows maybe your first date can be to a dumpster for a quickee

I think that's irresponsible for sure. I also suspect that if it's a sign of depression?

How could anyone be so unaware of his immediate environment? 😕
I don't know the age but it could be the way they were brought up, or a lack of hugeine due to sexual abuse at a young age. There are many theories but it's still a fact that it's a problem that needs immediate addressing.

I know his mom left when he was young or something. can't remember. not sure if he was sexually abused or anything.

So.. are you gonna Joan of ark this dude or what?

I don't know what to do with him yet. he texted me back and said he cleaned his sheets and he had to put his comforter in the dryer again 😆

Or he could just be a lazy slob.

Most people live decently and those who don't nor.ally have some trauma to work through. Not always. But is he lazy enough to lack pride when he brought a women to his room knowing damn well he may get laid? No. He was apathetic about something. That's a cry for help imo

Does he roommate or something? Why keep a toilet in the same room where you sleep?

Reminds me of ex roommates that destroyed one of my rooms, they let their 2 large dogs shit and piss right next to the bed where they slept. Well he's basically bathing himself with cat feces and urine every night. He must like it.
Did you kick them out because of that?

I have two teenaged sons. Their rooms are disaster areas and I'm on them to clean them daily. Their only excuse is laziness.

Granted, they are not trying to get girls in bed but still. It may be a maturity issue.

How much do you like this guy? Is he worth the effort?

If you want to stick around just remember that you catch more flies with honey. If you insult and criticize him about his filth it will backfire.

Just use your sexuality and feminine charms to your advantage.
That's good advice.

I am still getting to know him. I think I will give him a couple more weeks and see how he does.

Cats make my skin go all crazy if they don't take baths... Which is 80% of cats lol... Litter in the bed would be a no. Especially the ammonia from the cat box where I sleep. Even if it's well maintained. Yuck lol
Yea, when I had my own cat, I had to wipe her down every other day and I had to put the litter box in some other room.
Yea, I started giving mine baths as a kitten. And we took the door off this little coat closet we never used and put the box and supplies in there. It was perfect bc it was away from all food, clothing, bathing, sleeping things lol. An apartment would be hard for me to keep a kitty.

But I miss the company of one

I would assume he hasn't had guests around in a long while.

I would tell him that I would love to be at his house, but that it would be better if he cleaned up and made things romantic because I would feel more comfortable that way.

Also, does he share his space? Why would he keep the litter in his room? Maybe, if possible, I would make suggestions on where to keep the litter box now that I was staying over.

Pisces/Aries cusp 😄
Interesting. I once went out with a Pisces/Aries Cusper and he too had a super messy bedroom. I just walked in while he finished getting ready and after seeing his bedroom, I friend-zoned him instantly.

No way would I tolerate cat liter - that's disgusting... sorry.

I wouldn't necessarily break up with him.. That's a bit drastic. I'd give him a chance to fix the issue unless he's okay with it.. then he gotta go!! That's a personal preference and it's disgusting!

I don't understand. I have 2 cats. I've never had litter in my bed. Although the cats don't get under the blankets. They always sleep at the foot of the bed. My litterbox is between the laundry room and bathroom and gets cleaned every other day.

If there is that much cat litter IN his bed, I can only imagine how much litter is all over the bedroom floor. Gross.

I think if I wanted to continue seeing the guy, it would not be at his place. How old is he?

That's fucking disgusting. I am like princess and the pea. I cant have any dirt or fluff on my sheets or I cant sleep comfortable. I will get out of bed and shake the sheet if I feel anything in them.

And for it to be cat infested pee and poop litter. I would of walked out that door that same night.
