What would you do if a stranger told you to wear more clothes?

When I'm just relaxing around home I just wear booty shorts and a loose shirt without a bra. It's just the physically comfiest.

I've never had issues with it before, but at my new apartment complex my neighbors friend will stare at me when I walk my dog lookin like that or even when I went on a lazy donut run he stopped walking up the stairs when he saw me come out of my apartment. I ain't a mind reader, but given the area (East Texas, super religious) I have a feeling he's just mustering up the courage to tell me to dress more modestly. My question is what will I say if/when he asks this?

Would I justify that I just feel most comfortable in this attire? Would I say I'm gon wear more clothes but only wear more whenever I see him at my neighbors place?

This is making me very nervous, just 'cause I can't handle someone observing me without saying something already.

Adults can wear whatever they want in the end, though they shouldn't out of respect of others and to not badly influence the youth. Thats just my opinion. Its just when minors do it it pisses me off. Mostly because it makes no sense. It's illegal to be attracted to minors, yet parents, schools, or whatever are aloud to dress kids to show off as much skin as they want. That's why there is such an epidemic in our society right now. Kids aren't safe like they were in my parents era. Likely because my grandparents didn't dress them like a target. The kids didn't want to dress like a target either, because the older generations didn't influence them to think like that. Again I'm not trying to dis on women who want to dress sexy or feel comfortable , there's just a fine line imo.

You could be attracting negative attention dressed like that and you never know what someone may do... heck, if your half dressed already just think how much easier it is for the other person. At least wear a bra when around others.

I would never leave the house in pj's or the like. It's just a personal preference. I have set expectations for myself and as funny as it is- I couldn't imagine running into an aquantence or somethig on the street like that. Id own it, but shit! Lol. Only my very most intimate friends/partners get to see me like that.

Also, I don't wear makeup- at all (once a year mascara and blush does not count), so it's not like I'm all out- I just enjoy and am comfortable with being put together in my own way (this includes being perceived by others in that way- I wouldn't wear my more revealing pj's around my father or male family members either!, I also wouldn't be caught dead in drab by the female ones!)

I have some self-confidence, this for me has nothing to do with that. I'm self aware of my body and can pull off almost anything- and get told all the time to do it, by other woman, even when I'm trying on clothes in stores, lol- I just choose not to.

Lmaooo pjs... I sleep naked; ain't no pjs for me. Fwiw I choose my most decadent booty shorts when I go out like that; not my more raggedy ones. And once I get back in my apartment they come off and I just lounge in my underwear.

I agree, I feel uncomfortable dressing like this around male family members. But my male friends have seen me dress like this and I let my girl friends see me like this; they don't care. Sure they wanna fudge me but at least they're not offended.

I wouldn't say I'm low on confidence; if I was I'd wear clothes to cover up. I don't wear makeup either; only for work and night dates.

It just makes me feel nervous when people look without saying anything to me because I don't like feeling judged.
