Air Moon Dissociation

So I do this thing where I will obsess over someone when they're not there and get really emotional. But when I meet the same person in real life, it's like I can shut off that emotional part of myself and even seem aloof. They can say stuff I fantasized about them saying and I will barely react in the moment. Then, I will wait until I'm alone again and then over-analyze and obsess over everything they said or did.

Anyone else live their lives like this? Is this an air moon thing? Or moon in 8th maybe?

My experience with air moon is def like you described over thinkinging everything and then aloof too. It was willing she was willing to love someoe but eonce she got close to guy she wanted she backed off and was indifferent. most guys kept trying tho

Why? What's good about moon in the 8th?

I don't act indifferent but I sometimes downplay my emotional involvement lol.

I have a few people in my life with air moons and I still wonder at times (even though I know they love me) if they like me as they are so emotionally detached

Lol this is so me. My moon’s in the 11th does that count? 😅this is all my exes #1 complaint. people think I’m a cold hearted bitch, but deep down I get obsessive and over-analyze every little movement. The only guy I’ve dated who I can be vulnerable with is my current Scorp, but it’s because we’ve been friends for 5 years prior to getting into a relationship.

Yes I overanalyze everything, even far after the fact. No I dont generally do a good job at hiding it lololol. Better now that Im older haha. But Im a big starer. Like uncontrollable staring but if I try to interact, it usually goes anything but smoothly. I get very nervous and clumsy too which is just awesome. Haha yeah basically I chase off everyone but other weirdos haha.

Funny story, saw Anthony Keidus once and was so caught in his stare that I have no idea what I said while I was speaking to the crowd. I knew I was probably making him hella uncomfortable but my eyes just kept being drawn to his. And of course the Scorpio he is, just stared right back with resting bitch face lololol. I hate that I do that.... so embarrassing....

Hmmmm aqua moon here. This is why I like meeting guys in person better. Too much talk gets my imagination going and then it’s all awkward in person.. are they really what’s in my brain?

I do this....not an air moon nor moon in the 8th 🤷🏼‍♀️

The other thing is I’m not letting you know my feelings or what I’m thinking until I’m absolutely sure it’s safe to. Emotionally gotta protect myself. 🤷‍♀️ Probably doesn’t help I’m cap Venus too.

Probably. Ugh where my air moons at— It seems I don't meet them often. I tend to attract water signs (sun and moon) and virgo moons specifically. I would love to be with another aqua moon cuz i feel they would understand me best.

It's really hard for me to say I love you. 🙈 If I say it I must really love you lol bc I don't take those words lightly at all. But I do express my love through my actions. Similarly, I like love to be expressed to me through action. I rarely will get touched by someone's words alone.

Intuitive men know that to keep me they need to be somewhat out of reach, yet deeply engaged. I also never like someone upon couple first meetings...no matter what. No clue why....it takes me awhile.

My libra moon bf isnt aloof. But he has strong leo placements so I guess that checks out.

Yupp! My scorp boyfriend and I just broke up a couple of weeks ago and he had his moon in libra in the 8th with his venus in libra in the 8th! He also has an aqua rising! He was sssssuuuuuper aloof at times. He, a lot of times, just liked his alone time. He wasn't into the affectionate holding hands, etc. However, he was still very attached. It confused me when we first started dating and I literally thought he just wasn't that in to me. I got used to it once I began to learn his personality

i def like my alone time/ doing my own thing but i am very physically affectionate. earth venus can be blamed for that, i guess.
