My Cat Naomi is Very Very Human - Talking

So, she started out by saying, "hello." Now, she says, "oh lord."

She is so human-like she's a wee-bit creepy.

Now, most of you have seen the video of my tabby Harvey talking. I didn't take the video down. It's still in this forum. He's saying, "no" to my Pisces daughter asking for a kiss. Just so you know I'm not crazy. Harvey also says "mama."

But, my mom is watching my cats while I find a place to live. I took for granted my cats talking. But, I told her how human-like they are to include talking.

Well, Naomi learned a new word from moma and said it today.... "oh lord." I've had Naomi since she was 2 months old. So, it's all on me.

I treat them like people. I'm blaming it on being Gemini dominant - having cats that talk.

But, I has to think...

Naomi learned "hello" from being a birthday present to my teenage Pisces daughter and constantly hearing a teenaged girl on the phone. They are both Pisces.

Naomi learned "oh lord" from hearing my Libra mom on the phone.

Today, Naomi was bad, and as instructed, mom put her in the bathroom with the door closed. Naomi then started say, "hello, oh lord.... hello, oh lord... oh, lord hello..."

LMAO, but it's creepy. Cause she also knocks on doors, standing up saying, "hello?" and other things too much to mention.

I've got the one of Harvey on a topic in this forum already. Let me find it. Nobody was surprised or anything.

I got used to it after Harvey, he's 8 yo.

But, Naomi is 2 yo and didn't start meowing much until this year. I'm missing a mild stone right now because she meowing and talking alot. So, last week I went to momma's cause I miss my baby girl.

But, let me find the video of Harve.

I will videotape Naomi once I have her back with me.

Look at here eyes though. They are even human-like.

My cats a virgo born last year. I brought her home four weeks litter trained already and she's never once went outside of it. She only scratches her cat tree, only meows if someone hugs her for too long lol and its a really soft meow. She's a really quiet cat. And I yell at her all the time like, youre supposed to be an untrained kitten wtf... She doesnt like to go outside, but she keeps searching for my dog that recently passed, staring at his bed, and fake playing with him. She clearly cant understand english like your cats because I tried explaining to her that he's not coming back and she doesnt get it. I think I have to get her a furry friend.

OMgoodness. The poor baby. Have mercy, the sweet soul. She misses him so much. Bless y'all.

Like I said, she just started talking regularly and she's at moms but, when I get settled, I'll post her talking.

Aha! I have the phonecall of my mom telling me about Naomi saying "oh lord." And, I have the phonecall of my mom discovering her saying "hello."

I will have to edit the phonecall because of other topics in the convo and then post.

My mom gets joy out of her elderly woman's circle and telling them about my cats. One of her girlfriends were there when Naomi was knocking on the door saying "hello." Another girlfriend of my mom's is scared of them and call my cats "possessed" which hurt my feelings a little.

I record my convos with mom because she's getting old and I want her voice with me forever.

But, I'll post when I have time.

Meantime, here's soccer kitty. She's acting camera shy. She also plays fetch.

Yes, all the videos are normal with the exception of the 1st video of Harve saying "no."

Like I said, I'm missing this milestone cause she's with my mom. She just recently turned 2. So, my mom calls me to give me updates. I don't have video.

But, I have recordings of my mom telling me about it that I will post.

Is Naomi a Siamese cat? Ive read that those cats are known to be super smart and chatty, add a Gemini dominant cat mom to the equation and it all makes complete sense(:

Yep, she's a two year old Siamese. I read the same as you but, she just started getting chatty. Her voice is so cute, dainty, and feminine... eloquent. She's super smart. They both are really smart. I talk to them like people and demonstrate what I'm saying for clarity.
