5'7 seems to me at least to be pretty average. 🤷
I always thought 5'7" was average for most women, tall for me being Asian. But then I remember a thread where the girls on DXP posted their height, and most of them are like 5'4" and under -_-

I have NEVER been called a big woman. I’ve dated men who ranges from 5’9”-6’6”. No one commented on my height or weight. I’ve gained weight recently and even then I was informed I still wasn’t big.
Thank you...ive fluctuated in my weighy...to be honest I've never really paid any mind to it. And I certainly don't feel or think I look "big". He's not that tall but muscular so I don't feel bigger then him.
I told him I don't like when he calls me that because it's giving me a complex and doesn't sound "attractive". He just laughs and says "You're not a "little" girl...and I think your perfect that way you are. Just bigger than most women I know "

I’m the same height as you and my guy is 5’11. I do think the average woman is usually like 5’3-5’5, but I don’t feel like 5’7 is tall. Once you hit like 5’9 that’s a different story. You should tell him he shouldn’t be so short then. Lol

I'm very hippy...birthing hips as they say. I personally like fuller figured women as well. I do t think he meant harm by it, I know he is attracted to me. Weird word choice and just doesn't resonate well with me.

that's good...body-wise, hip-to-waste ratio is probably the most important and universal aesthetic criterion for men....

My sister is 5’8”, and I don’t think she’s a big woman... I think 5’7” is a nice height to be.
I've always liked it.
My mother is 5'10" and I never felt she was super tall.

I‘m short... 5.08 ft and 156lbs but my boobs are gigantic after giving birth 6 months ago. No joke each of them weights around 3kg!I lost a looooot of weight since feburary and I‘m still working on it 😊 nothing to be ashamed of.

Depends on where you live, but as a North American, I see 5'4 being right in North America for the average height for a woman.
Ideals about what is feminine or not I think can greatly influence our reaction to words used.
For example, a penpal of mine, who knows that I'm small (just under 5'1) who has never met me in person wrote that my feet must be "cute" because they must be small. When I told him the size of my feet, he thought that they were big for my height. I found myself bothered by that. It isn't true by most people's standards, AFAIK, but that wasn't what bothered me, I had to face. I didn't like the idea of having big feet, which only comes from me buying into ideals of what is ideal vs not for women's feet. Even as I type this, I can't get away from wishing that my feet were smaller, lol, even though my feet are often called small by people who have seen them.

Thanks... I was just saying I tend to attract men who like thicker or muscular girls. I think as we’ve all gotten older, we tend to gravitate to curvier. I like dudes with grey now, they don’t seem to mind my extra pounds.
Guys like curves lol. Well I think I’m more conscious about it then them. A lot of women get heavier as they get older, well hey men do too!! It’s just more of a struggle late 40’s and 50’s.

Sending nudes with an extra 20lbs after 5 kids took some serious confidence... I was like ‘yhisnwoukd have looked way hotter several kids ago’... apparently he felt it looked hot enough as is. Women tend to be harder on themselves then they need to. Once I let go of my insecurities I find a few extra pounds isn’t a big deal. He’s into me, not just one aspect of my body.
They still think it’s hot! Lol more boobs, more you to love 😂 I’d love to lose that 20 omg! But gotta accept yourself regardless. I guess I’m more worried about getting fit & healthy then the actual # on the scale.
My health hasn’t been great and I’ve struggled to loose the baby weight. I’m almost back to my normal weight now.
I just didn’t feel as comfortable in my own skin... but it didn’t last long.

I'm facing the same situation now. Got hit head-on last week so going for MRI's of spine and starting PT. Hoping they will give me exercises that my back can handle... I'm 5'2", I'm an hourglass shorty so don't need to add weight for sure!

Depends on where you live, but as a North American, I see 5'4 being right in North America for the average height for a woman.
Ideals about what is feminine or not I think can greatly influence our reaction to words used.
For example, a penpal of mine, who knows that I'm small (just under 5'1) who has never met me in person wrote that my feet must be "cute" because they must be small. When I told him the size of my feet, he thought that they were big for my height. I found myself bothered by that. It isn't true by most people's standards, AFAIK, but that wasn't what bothered me, I had to face. I didn't like the idea of having big feet, which only comes from me buying into ideals of what is ideal vs not for women's feet. Even as I type this, I can't get away from wishing that my feet were smaller, lol, even though my feet are often called small by people who have seen them.
